Dynamic Media URL in Publish and Author is not of server configured

I'm using Dynamic Media component for Video.

Video is playing both in author and in publish, but the src url formed for video tag is blob:<<AuthorDomain>>/d6198942-dab2-4f27-a346-0578d9efde91

Is it possible to get Scene7 url instead of blob url like this, We need it for analytics purpose

@avvidya931 how are you copying the video URL? Are you using some custom export of all video URLs or OOTB copy URL feature in AEM?

Have you tried copying the URL directly from Scene7/Dynamic Media? Does that help meet your requirement? Please post your findings.

Welcome to AEM Community !!

If you are inspecting Dynamic Media Component on the Sites page and trying to get the Video URL, you will see that alphanumeric URL.

To get Scene 7 URL, you need to login to Dynamic Media Classic Desktop app and double click on that video to get video URL.

Note : Video needs to be published to get the Video URL.

Will the tracking work even with the blob video url, we need to pass the src url for data-cmp-data-layer. Dynamic media Image gets the proper scene7 url, is there any settings by which we can make videos to show proper scene7 url instead of blob

Instead of blob url, is there a way to get the proper scene7 url as we get for images, it will help in passing this to the data-layer, which in turn helps us track how many times the video has been clicked

Hi @avvidya931 : For security reasons, Dynamic Media component (on the sites page) will not show the Scene 7 Video URL, when you inspect the page.

Is DM URL available for all asset types in Assets Details page under rendition or else it is just available for Images and Videos? Is there a way to DAM user to get DM delivery URL for any asset from AEM DAM?
