AEM 6.5 file count

Hi Team,

We have been told that customer has requirement to persist between 8000+ to 15,000+ assets in each folder in AEM instance. Based on my past experience (AEM 6.1) having 1000+ assets will have performance impact on asset lazy loading + search collection update. Could you please advise the threshold on the file count going into each folder for AEM 6.5?
