Implement MCID

We don't have ECID available, so we populate fallback_visitorId or visitorId. Now we have to move to MCID and also have to enable timestamps for the hits. How can I achieve it? Do we have any document for it?

can you describe a little what kind of traffic you are talking about?

Is it offline data you are feeding into Analytics via API?

ECID and MCID are actually synonyms, so where do you have the information from that you must switch from ECID to MCID?
