Delivery of transactional messages when server unavailable

Hi,

we would like to send transactional messages related to our online shop via Campaign and will use the API to receive the information.

What happens to the transactional message if the Campaign server is unavailable? How can we make sure that Campaign receives the information to send a message again in case the server was not available?

Thanks for your help!

Hi lenaf21917833,

While sending API Calls to Campaign Server, in case of unavailability of the Server, you would receive corresponding error messages.

In that case, you will have to resend API Calls.

If for some reason, the API message was received within Server but didn't turn out to be successful, then the Campaign (Real-Time) Server would continue to target end-user until the specified threshold of retries is achieved.

Hi Garima Gakhar,

Thanks for the information!

How would such an error message look like? Can we find a more detailed description in the Campaign documentation somewhere? I wasn't able to find something about that. Thanks again in advance!
