Definition of Distinct clicks

Avatar

Level 1

Hi,

I want to ask about definition of distinct clicks.

The manual says; Distinct clicks for the population reached : Number of distinct people having clicked in a delivery at least once.

Then the statics should not exceed 100% in my understanding.

But I can see there is some case that exceed 100%.

Why is it happen? (There were three hyperlinks in Campaign, so I wonder that are affect distinct click)

Please let me know if I have any misunderstanding about this issue.

Thanks,

Seungyeon

Hi,

Let say you receive a delivery and you clicked it on 2 different platforms (laptop and mobile). Because of the cookies and/or UUID, Adobe will consider that you reached 2 users.

to summarize, you have 1 sent and 2 clicks basically 200% of distinct clicks.

Hope that helps

Thanks,

David
