Hi Adobe team,
In recurring delivery of Adobe campaign classic there is
A..Html content
B.Text content
1.what will happen if I didn't convert html to text or kept text content as blank ?and what is the best practice?
2.does links are trackable for text content? like open and click?
3.how to make any word or letter bold in a subject line?
Kindly help me to understand above doubts with ease.
Thank you

Hi @KD1 ,
Some recipients will be having email preferences as Text instead of HTML. So to send them text version of your email creative, need to convert html to text in text tab or you can have specific text content entered there for targeting recipients who has preferences as Text. Yes, tracking will be enabled for text content as well. And most of the email clients Don't support bold fonts in subject line and in Adobe campaign, subject line will be a plain text, but you can use emojis in it.

Is the recipient who decides to receive text or html? and how? means how it updated in their profile manually or automatically to receive text or html?

Hi KD, if a preference center is set, then the client could define this directly, but often, this is configured automatically via the email service provider, in which case you may have no way of knowing. So it's just a best practice to send a plain text version just on the off chance that there are some recipients out there whose ESP does not allow HTML.

Craig
