Oracle Java License for Adobe Campaign

Avatar

Hi Experts,

Documentation for Adobe campaign is very different then AEM documentation regarding oracle java support.  Client is seeking clarification on alignment.  AEM documentation is clear that client can use oracle java with AEM without a need to have a contract with oracle directly.

https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-64/assets/adobe-oracle-java-license-agree...

Client wants to confirm if the same holds true for Adobe Campaign, can they continue to use Oraclejava without having any direct contract with Oracle as well?

Reason for this clarification is that they have a mandate to move out of Oracle java and move to Open JDK.

Hi Rafiko,

How is the client looking to use Oracle Java? Campaign does support OpenJDK (see the compatibility matrix below) so I expect that the client should be all set.
