I need documentation/Guided steps for whatsApp integration with Adobe Campaign Classic. As I have started with the POC for it. I want to first understand what components needs to be created for integrating this channel for communication.

As far as I know, there is no out-of-the-box routing or connector for WhatsApp messages.

If your volume is low, I suggest using an HTTP request function in JavaScript to call the WhatsApp Business API and pass the values there. In JavaScript, you can personalize the message based on data coming from the temporary table. However, this is not a future-proof solution.

There is a possibility to create a custom external routing for WhatsApp Business API calls. First, you need to configure your custom external connection. Then, in the campaign setup delivery where you will call this routing, you need to do some customization to set up this link with the connector. As far as I know, it is possible but can be complex from a development point of view, and there is no clear documentation on this part.

If you want to go with this approach, cross-check with Adobe support to ensure they will support you if there are any issues.
