## E-mail deliverability

Dear,

During a webinar from Adobe, we've learned that with respect to e-mail deliverability we should not exceed more than 20% above the average max volume over the last 3 to 6 months.

We wonder how exactly we should calculate the average max volume of the last 3 to 6 months. Does this imply calculating the average of the maximum during a period of 1 month over the last 6 months. As in: calculate the max of the last 30 days, the max of 30 to 60 days ago, 60 to 90 days ago, etc. and to then calculate the average of those 6 maxima.

Hello ,

I think the easiest way to do this is by extracting the delivery logs and then grouping them in terms of date to get a date wise distribution for the volume.

Then take the average or max as you want.

This can be done via a query or simply in the UI by filtering on the schemas.

Hi @InMo,

We have this package already installed and are using the default reports. Sadly we don't have access to all mid-source information. We have created a manual report with daily figures and would now rather know how we should calculate the advised maximum. We always thought it was +20% of the maximum of the last 30 days, but in an Adobe webinar they stated "the average maximum of the last 3 to 6 months". So maybe someone know the best approach to calculate this figure as an "average maximum" is kind of contradictory, unless we know how to calculate the maxima to get the average of. Hope someone can share some insights.
