Campaign - Analytics integration

Avatar

Hi, I am looking for a clarification on the integration between Campaign - Analytics.

https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/campaign/kb/triggers-and-campaign.html

AS per this link there is integration based on triggers on the platform. Could you please clarify if this works with Adobe Campaign hosted on-premise in a hybrid implementation. (with Campaign workflow tool on-premise and e-mail deliverability on the cloud).

Thanks.

J

Hi,

quick side note: this was posted in Adobe Campaign Standard forum but concerns Campaign Classic.

yes, this also would work with hybrid implementation.

Broadlogs etc. should all be prepared on your marketing instance already.

Analytics anyway would be triggered on the website independently from Campaign.

So your on-premise instance can receive the triggers and then process them.

Note: at the end it depends on what you want to do with the triggers.

e.g. if you want to send transactional messages, it could be that you need a workflow which is forwarding the event to the RT instance hosted by Adobe (i.e. does a SOAP call with related event context)
