Tracking across sub directory

Avatar

Level 2

We have a main site xyz.com. We are going to add a page managed by a 3rd party in our subdirectory: xyz.com/abc. The third party will be using Telium for their TMS and send the data over to us into the report suit we provide.

My question is: in order to keep the same ECID across the pages, do we need a new report suit or will the existing one suffice. The measurement for success are more or less the same accross the pages.

Ideally as a 3rd party site is the source:

1 You have the same header footer tag snippet you use for your report suite.

2 If using tracking IDs on 3rd party website ensure URL CTA structure is in line with formats to your tracking ID infrastructure.

This way it will be more of a seamless integration and attribution of success. The 3rd party pages will appear as more or less new pages within the report suite.(even though they are 3rd party hosted).
