I tried providing basic metrics like pageviews, visits, unique visitors and bounce rate for a particular page for one of my client, for which I created a segment with page name and dropped it into the freeform table.
The general format goes like this, the data shown must be only for the segmented page name. But I get data for other pages too (pages other than the segmented page) with values as 0 (zero) in all metric fields. Can anyone suggest a solution for it?

It's hard to pinpoint the exact issue based on the information you've provided about the segment.
If the segment is at a visit level, it is going to bring in all the pages for the visit where that particular page is seen. If it's at a hit level, if the page name dimension is an evar, it could be picking up the persisted values as well.
The best solution that I can think is to use an exclude container within your segment. You want to set the value inside to "page name does not equal *page*", and then exclude that. That will remove any pages that are not the one are you interested in. It's important that the container is the same level as your segment so that the exclude is applied to everything (the hit, visit, or visitor).

It's probably the Bounce Rate metric... due to the way Bounce Rate is calculated it can cause some issues with how data appears.
Do a test, remove that one metric column and see if the extra rows disappear....
