Send data through Extract Data method as .csv files (size over 1 MB)

    Hi there,

I have the following problem. I want to send a scheduled report using "Extract Data" method. Now everything works fine, until I send a file larger than 1 MB, then it automatically sends the .csv file within a .zip file. Although I have not checked the "Send report as a compressed file (.zip)". Does someone know a way to achieve my goal here? I only want the raw data, so no graphs or anything in it.

Kind regards,

Michael

Hi Michael,

Adobe Analytics will automatically send as a .zip no matter the selection if you hit over certain size limits past 1MB. I believe Data Warehouse also has the same 1MB or higher zip limit. You could try to pull reports via the API or derive from raw clickstream files as alternatives.

The Analytics Reporting API gives you programmatic access to Analytics's core report data. The Reporting API lets you create customized reports that address your specific needs. The Reporting API also lets you use Analytics data in third-party applications, such as an intranet site or a company-branded application. You can access the data to create calculated metrics, or format the data as needed. The data is as up-to-date as the data in Analytics.

The Analytics Reporting API can access only Analytics data. It cannot access the relational data that is available in tools such as Ad hoc analysis and Data Warehouse.
