Recreate flow chart like the one in Adobe Activity Map

Screenshot 2024-10-25 164416.jpgWhen using the Adobe Activity Map extension and selecting 'Page Details,' a flow chart is generated, grouping external sources in a clear, organized view. Is there a way to replicate this flow chart directly in Adobe Analytics, particularly with external sources grouped similarly? Currently, when I try to recreate this flow in Adobe Analytics, I must set the dimension to start/contains/end with 'page,' which prevents external sources from being grouped. Is there a way to achieve the same grouping and layout as seen in Activity Map?

Hi Le33399

I haven't used activity map before, but it looks like when you click on the "External Referrer" box in your Activity Map flow, you will see the breakdown of each of these referrers.

I think you could try the following in AA:
-  In the panel, add the specific page hit as a segment in the panel drop-zone.

-  Add the flow diagram to the panel.

-  Use the Referrer in the flow diagram as 'Starts with'

Then it should show the list of referrers related to that specific page hit. But it will not be completely same visual as the one in activity map. In AA you can expand the nodes and see how people later on might enter via other referrers. It is not like a 'fall out' where you define start and end. The flow diagram in AA is more explorative and lets you follow the journey that starts with/ contains or ends with something. I might just use a freeform table for showing referrers from a specific page. I am not sure if this answers your question. I would love to hear your input!
