Page Traffic from Mobile Appliacation

Good afternoon Adobe experts,

We found that the main traffic touchpoints for some of our pages was called "Mobile Appliacation" as filtered by "Last Touch Channel". As we couldn't further drill down the "Mobile Appliacation" by pages or page URLs. I'm not sure if any of the user activities and interactions within the mobile app can be tracked in Adobe Anaytics. If yes, I was wondering if there's a specific dimension we can use to slice down the "Mobile Appliacation" and better understand the following business questions:

1) What was the user journey within the Mobile Application?

2) Which Mobile Application did the users use?

3) Was the mobile application from our organization or an external mobile application driving traffice to our pages?

4) Where did the users click from the Mobile Application and land on our pages?

If you can share with us your experience and insights about this topic, that would be much appreciated.

Thank you!
Nan

Also, we can share insights into activities or interactions within the mobile application, but we will need to understand what "Mobile Application" in this case represents as it doesn't seem to be a usual traffic gathered using Adobe mobile SDK on your app - looks like you are trying to find details about traffic to your site from third party/external "mobile application".

@nanxu Is "Mobile Application" one of your Marketing Channels? If that's the case, what are the conditions of the channel?

Yes, we do have a mobile application for the Customer Services & Supports and Customer Loyalty Programs. However, this app doesn't serve as an extension of our eCommerce channel, but we do see that the traffic was coming from the "Mobile Application" to our "Shop" pages on our eCommerce site. However, that wasn't the intension we designed for the customers to come to our eCommerce site from the Mobile application.

More specifically, we have two concerns over this topic:

1) If we do want to service the customers from the Mobile Application, we should specifically design the content and journey on the Mobile Application. Otherwise, they come to shop but then bounce back right away as it wasn't designed for the "Shop" purpose for the mobile application users.

2) If we understand that they came to the "Shop' pages by accident, we should somehow disable this funcationality from the Mobile application.

Let me know what you think. Thank you!
