Hi,

Trying to create a new AA account for this email: ian.scott-mance@mt.com, is there any reason not to create an account in Adone analytics. Find the screen shot.

Hi @kirang29990284 ,

Did you click on "Add as a New User" which appears after you have entered a VALID email address like below? Another thing to check, is the account access level? The account you are using to add a new user has access to add new users? If all these are true, I would suggest you try again in Incognito window. And if the issue still persists, best to reach out to client care as that maybe a specific issue to your Adobe instance.

Hope this helps!

Best,

@kirang29990284  issue not related to below email, but with permission and access control you have for Adobe Analytics account, check with Admin or get required access for adding new user to Adobe Analytics instance or product profile , specifically role of Product Profile admins

Hi @kirang29990284, there shouldn't be an issue with the specific email. Check to make sure that you have the right permissions to be able to add users to the product profile that you have selected.

If you have the right permissions, I would suggest maybe clearing your cache, signing out and back in, and then trying again. If the issue persists, log a ticket with client care and they will be able to help you.

H Mandy,

I have administrative rights. Despite clearing the cache and signing in to Adobe again, the issue persists.

Thanks

Hi Kiran,

one other thing I noticed is that the product you're trying to give access to is "reports and analytics" which was sunset last year. Have you tried a different product profile to see if that will work instead?

@kirang29990284  did you check your role/permission if you have specifically role of Product Profile admins- allows you to add users

@kirang29990284  instead of adding direct to the product can you create one product profile and then try to add the user to that group and check once. it should resolve your issue.

Hi @kirang29990284 ,

Ideally if you are able to add users with other email addresses you shouldn't be facing issues with this email as well. Whatever the reason be, it is not quite clear from the error shown in the screen shot. I'll suggest to check for detailed error logs in the network request that is returning this message in the UI. Here's what you can do,

1. Goto Admin console's add user UI like you have in the screen shot shared

2. Open browser debugger tools - press CTRL+SHIFT+J (CMD+OPT+J on a Mac) or F12

3. Try adding the user which is throwing error

4. Goto Network tab in debugger tools

5. Look for any failed requests from Adobe (most probably with status code 204/302)

6. Got to Response section of this request and you should find the detailed error message

Give it a try and see if you can find more details and use that information to fix the issue.

Cheers!
