Issue in fetching ECID in AEP SDK

Hi Fellas,

I'm migrating SDK from 4.x to AEP SDK.

While implementing the configuration we have tried to fetch the ECID, but the method for fetching  is not working.

We have tried below methods .

• getExperienceCloudId() Identity API reference - Adobe Experience Platform Mobile SDKs (gitbook.io)I have tried the mentioned method two methods with error handling and without it.
• Error displayed: The operation couldn't be completed (com.adobe.marketing.mobile error 1)

Please help to suggest the correct method for fetching the ECID into sdk.

I would suggest checking the dependencies. Also, see if Identity is correctly initialized.

We have checked the dependencies and checked whether the identity is correctly initialized.

There is no problem with that.

Can you please confirm whether we used the correct method?

Do we have any alternative approach to get the MCID value while user opens the app?

The method is correct. Though, it would be more helpful to look at the code. I would suggest reaching out to Customer Care with debug logs so that the issue can be reviewed in detail.
