How is bounce rate calculated?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Bounce rate is calculated differently between v14 and v15. In v14, it is [Single Access]/[Entries]. In v15, it is [Bounces]/[Entries].

Actually there is more to it than that. For years SiteCat did not have a bounce metric out of the box. You had to define one as a custom metric. Then in 2012 Bounce rate was added, however it does *not* treat as a bounce a page where an instance of an evar is set, ie if you interact with the page in some way, make a selection or similar; that sets an eVar typically by s.tl() call. These are not regarded as bounces in "new money".
Consider a store finder page use case.
