Help for making a segment for page views

Avatar

Level 1

I am new to Adobe Analytics and I need to access page views and metrics for only a particular (country specific) web site and not all the global data. I have instructions for the older version of SiteCatalyst which tell me to add a segment for page views in order to narrow the data down to the country site I need, but in the sc15 version I can't figure out how to do this, as "page view" isn't an option when creating a segment. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi Emily,

If you build a hit container in the Segment Builder using the given criteria for country site which is set always at a page level that will provide the intended segmentation view. Further details on segment container logic can be found in the following link:

http://microsite.omniture.com/t2/help/en_US/analytics/segment/seg_container_overview.html

So essentially within the Adobe Analytics Segment Builder: Show 'hit' WHERE Countries = XYZ.

Best,

Brian
