hi @DineshPrasanth

With stitching enabled, I generally see a small decrease in Sessions (vs. Visits).  When CJA knows the activity on multiple platforms belongs to the same Person within the timeout period (default is 30 minutes), that activity will be 1 Session.  In AA, if you're using cookieID or something similar, those would likely be reported as separate visits.

Similarly, for People, the count is generally lower based on stitching.

There are some cases that could increase People count.  If using field-based stitching, CJA will also report two different loginIDs as separate people, even if using the same cookieID.

Hi @DineshPrasanth
can you detail a little where your doubt is coming from?

I would assume that if your data is containing some user identifier that can be used to stitch the data together, the Visitor numbers should not be affected.

However, if you lack this common identifier and onboard data from other systems, the Visitor numbers will be increased since you are dealing with an audience that is not just coming through the web channel.

Same for sessions.

Events should not be affected by that since they are anyway not getting deduplicated.

Cheers from Switzerland!

CJA is not just a web channel, segments would be more or less similar to AA if CJA was based on the AEP unified/stitched profile [assuming it has a Web channel / AA ]  @DineshPrasanth
