Calculated Metric for Average Revenue

Avatar

hello,

I have a question about calculated metrics.

We want to find the average revenue of each dimension value created based on product attributes according to different time criteria.

To do this, I created a calculated metric as shown in the attached image.

However, I noticed that the average revenue is the same for all dimension.

My guess is that it is showing the overall average for all periods, not the individual average revenue per dimension

However, I need to check the average revenue for each dimension individually.

Could there be a problem with the calculation of the metric we created?

Hi @ho22 ,

To calculate average revenue in Adobe Analytics, use the formula [Revenue] / [Visits] for Revenue per Visit, or [Revenue] / [Orders] for Average Order Value (AOV)

1. Revenue per Visit:
  • Formula: [Revenue] / [Visits]
  • Purpose: This metric shows the average amount of revenue generated by each visit to the site.

2. Average Order Value (AOV):
  • Formula: [Revenue] / [Orders]
  • Purpose: This metric measures the average amount customers spend per transaction.

Hi @pradnya_balvir

thanks for your response.

Actually, I already know how to calculate the AOV and I can check the value using the existing metric.

What I want to know is whether it is possible to apply the average return for a specific rolling period as a function without registering a date range in the table.

Is it possible to check this with a calculated metric?
