Visit landing on sub-domain 1: https://1.domain.com, then either click a link or type-in URL goes to sub-domain 2 https://2.domain.com, then left.
The questions are:
will sub-domain 2 get a bounce?
is it reasonable to calculate bounce% in domain 2 as formula: bounce/visits*100%?
My understanding is the bounce shall be aligned with entries. As a result, even break down by "server", the above example is not a bounce to domain 1, not a bounce to domain 2 as well.
But since it is a visit to domain 2, as well as a single page visit, consider calculate Single Page Visit/Visits*100% is reasonable.
As a result, use either of following way is reasonable:
1. bounce/entries*100% and use "entry server" dimension, but not "server"
2. single page visit/visits*100%, use "server" dimension
Please let me know your idea.
Thank you.

If the data is captured into a single report suite from both subdomains and the visitor ID (mid) matches, the Bounce Rate is calculated as they were two pages under a single domain.
Hi Andrey,
Could you help to check my reply below and clarify?
Thank you.

When you said "Single Report Suite", does it mean "individual report suite" for each of domain, or a "unique report suite" for both of domains?
e.g.
Domain A and Domain B all triggered to "Reportsuite1"
OR
Domain A to "reportsuite1", Domain B to "reportsuite2"
I got a little confused because when you state "the Bounce Rate is calculated as they were two pages under a single domain.", if two pages under 1 domain, then I think it will not calculate Bounce Rate.
Our actual case is:
the 2 server visits are both firing server calls to same report suite: "domainglobal", they don't fire server calls to each of individual report suite. I also noticed that the visitor ID is remaining same value when user visit from subdomain1 to subdomain2.
Under above situation, is this a bounce for subdomain 1, and a bounce for subdomain2 as well?
I think if they are counting bounce to each subdomain, then it is entry to each as well.
Please help to clarify.
Thank you.

@Andrey_Osadchuk, thanks for your reply. Then I got little confused, since domain 1 and 2 are all triggering to reportsuit1, how it will be calculated as a Bounce? Since there are 2 server calls.
Or, if it is bounce for domain 1 and domain 2, then it means it is Entry for domain 1 and domain 2, is it?
So, I need to use Bounce/Entry on domain 1, and Bounce/Entry on domain 2, but shall not use Bounce/Visit for domain1, nor Bounce/Visit for domain2.
Please help to clarify. Thank you.

I thought it could be "the Bounce Rate is NOT calculated as they were two pages under a single domain." in the reply, is it?
2 pages under a single domain, I got confused if it is "the Bounce Rate is calculated as they were two pages under a single domain“
