Automation options of reporting?

Hi, despite of report scheduling we have an awful lot of manual work to do when trying to report KPIs for all our report suites. The issue is not that we have different report suites but rather the whole process of schedulling lots of reports, copying the data from mail to excel and then copying this to powerpoint.

Is there possibilities with APIs to simplify this process? Any suggestions?

Hi,

You can set up your reporting to be on rolling date parameters and send scheduled reports/dashboards via Analysis Workspace, Reports & Analytics, Excel Report Builder Add In, or Data Warehouse. You might be able to streamline your transfer to PPT via these methods.

You should checkout the RSiteCatalyst package created by Randy Zwitch if you are thinking of going the API route.
