Page views per minute alev1 - Adobe Analytics
Hi! We just got access to Analysis Workspace and found out that you can have a granularity down to the minute. While this is great, we wonder how come the minute attribute is not yet possible in DWH tool? It's quite annoying to drag and drop the minutes, if you'd see a trended line over longer period of timeWhat#s best practice solution to get metrics per minutes?

No referring domain for entries... alev1 - Adobe Analytics
Hi! Lately we do not get the referring domain "typed / bookmarked" anymore. I believe it is connected to the fact that our implementation was changed and now in the tracking call every variable will be dispatched, indifferent if it actually contains a value or not.If the query string parameter for the referrer is empty like "&r=&g=www.homepage.com".... will this be attributed as "Typed / Bookmarked" or not? It doesn't look like!

Re: Entries and Exits in Data Warehouse alev1 - Adobe Analytics
Because I came across it recently. There is a workaround for this. Create a segment with no existing previous page and pageviews equals 1. This will give you the site entries in DWH. Worked for me at least.

referring domains instances vs entries? alev1 - Adobe Analytics
Hi, can you help me understand why I have 0 instances in the referring domains report but so many entries on one page?I get the difference between site entries (which are unique per visit) and instances (which can happen multiple times during visit). But what does it mean to have 0 instances of the particular referring domain, but having almost 2k entries for a page?

What is metric "True Clicks"? alev1 - Adobe Analytics
Hi, recently we discovered the metric "True Clicks". However, I could not find anything about it in the documentation. What is it?Applied to custom conversion reports it is neither page views, nor visits, nor instances.Any idea?

You are talking about tracking calls without pagename variable, right? Actually I wanted to see where the user goes after his first page view.

Re: FTP Classification - "Classification does not match" alev1 - Adobe Analytics
hyderziaee wrote... Hi Alessandro, There is more than just he names that need to match unfortunately for you to be able to use the classifications together. Do note that you may need to delete some of the classification depending on the ID associated at the back-e...

filter for 2nd page alev1 - Adobe Analytics
Hi, what would be the best way to filter for the second pages a user visits during his visit? Is that achievable?I know that Hit Depth is available as dimension in segment builder, but I'm not sure how to use it, I applied it to the full paths report and I get paths with only 1 page, with more than 2 pages...

TanmayM wrote... Hi Alessandro, There are a handful of things that you can try: 1. Download the current classification files for all the report suites. Compare the reports classifications values (Do all files have data? IF not copy the values and reupload Admin > Classification Importer > Import File) Also, make ...

FTP Classification - "Classification does not match" alev1 - Adobe Analytics
Hi! I try to classify some data through ftp import, however when I try to select different report suites I get warning message" "Classification does not match", even though the classifications have same name, wording etc. I believe the problems stems from the fact that those report suites were not copies but instead set up separately and thus somehow they are not linked. I do not want to delete existing reports and create new ones, because I want to avoid disrupting existing reporting.is there a...

Re: Segment first hit alev1 - Adobe Analytics
Sorry for not being clear enough, actually it was two questions, related to each other.1.) I'm aware that every visit on site will have first hit on page, thus I did not want to see the segment of visits with 1. hit (which would be nonsense), but a segment based on hit dimension for 1. hits.2.) I wanted to create a segment for those hits who entered on homepage - but I wanted to filter on "hits" basis, because by doing this, I can see the next channels (path reports) for that specific entry page...

Re: Segment first hit alev1 - Adobe Analytics
I'm aware of the entries metric, but I cannot apply it in segment manager! I don't want to run the pages report, but make some sophisticated deep dive analysis, that's why I need a segment.

Segment first hit alev1 - Adobe Analytics
Hi, how can I filter for the very first hit and only see data for that? I would have taken "entries" metric, but it is not available in segment builder!Second, hwo can I filter for very first hit for a specific entry page? Segment based on "entry page equals..." won't do it, I get same amount as when selecting visit based segment, so my assumption is that entry page persists for whole session?

Re: Data extract: no hourly granularity? alev1 - Adobe Analytics
Gigazelle, you are right: hourly data works for non-conversion variables, but doesn't for conversion. I just found a workaround on how to get hourly data for covnersion variables as well, I first select the time period for a non-conversion report and then switch in the "extract data" page to another covnersion report. It remembers the settings and I can request hourly data for conversion report as well. Thanks for the hint!

Segmenting paths with branches? alev1 - Adobe Analytics
Hi, I've got 2 paths which I'd like to create segments based upon them. Problem is they are very similar:Path 1: A > B > C > DPath 2: A > B > D What should my sequential segments look like? Path 1 is easy, "A then B then C then D". But for path 2? Is it legitimate to exclude page C? Like this: "A then B then doesn't equal C then D" ?

new Intelligent Alerts documentation alev1 - Adobe Analytics
Adobe Analytics now has the Intelligent Alerts. Is there a proper documentation about the algorithms that calculate "Anomaly detection"? The documentation doesn't really explain it: https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/analytics/analysis-workspace/alert-builder.htmlAND I have a further question:with the old alerting system you could create alerts for either specific items of a report or for "all items". Now this options seems to be gone? How can I create an alert that scans anomalies...

Re: Values not URL encoded contain special characters ":", "/", "?" alev1 - Adobe Analytics
Didn't work for me. I created a "custom image tag" in GTM which contained the tracking call's URL and the query string. For some reason GTM didn't percent encode the query string parameter values and sent them as they were https://comapany.122.2o7.net/b/ss/reportsuiteid/5/H.24.1--WAP?AQB=1&v1=www.abc.com?trackeridXY&AQE=1Somehow these tracking calls weren't accepted by Adobe, they didn't populat the reports. Only properly encoded were.

Values not URL encoded contain special characters ":", "/", "?" alev1 - Adobe Analytics
Hi, I created a new value that should need to pick up the page's URL and host name. But the values passed are not encoded, they look like "https://www.abc.com?tracker=abc". I guess this might be a problem? I'm picking them up via tag manager. Any idea how to avoid this?
