I am trying to get more information on the Analytics Live Stream found here:

How is the request made to Adobe to get this access?  Do we simply contact our account manager?  Also, per the "request" itself, the website says that we must pick and choose the metrics and dimensions we want pumped through the feed.  Do we really have to do this?  Won't requesting the live stream just give us all our metrics and dimensions and we can choose which to use on this end?     We are interested in using this feed to do some more advanced visualizations.  Please advise and thanks!

Hi John, your account manager or Customer Care can help you set this up.

You do have to pick which metrics and dimensions you want included, though there isn't a limit as to how many you can include, and you can request multiple independent streams. This is done to preserve bandwidth and processing. For example, if you received a stream of everything available for a visualization that displayed 30 metrics/dimensions, you'd still be processing then discarding 90% of the transferred data (300+ metrics/dimensions).
