Adding Microsoft Ads to Advertising Analytics

Within Advertising Analytics, there are only 2 search engine options in our account, Bing and Adwords.

  • There is no Microsoft Ads option available.
  • All documentation describes a Bing integration.

We keep getting an error message stating the Microsoft Account doesn't exist and suggests entering a different or new account.

  • It is possible to login to Microsoft Ads with the same account and password
  • The correct permissions have been enabled in Microsoft Ads and Adobe Analytics

The Advertising Analytics set up is correct, we currently have Adwords data flowing.

Could the issue be due to the connection on the Adobe side due to the move from Bing to Microsoft Ads?

Isn't Bing meant for Microsoft Ads? Bing is Microsoft's search engine.

Thank you for the reply.  Yes, Bing is Mircrosoft's search engine.  Recently, Microsoft rebranded so the link is to Microsoft Ads now and not Bing.

The questions in the link sent are not useful to me, I'm not sure if the problem is clearly understood.  We are unable to sign into the Microsoft Ads account from the set up process within Adobe Analytics.

We can sign into Microsoft Ads directly and we can sign into Adobe Analytics.

The correct permissions in both Mircrosoft Ads and Adobe Analytics have been set up.

I hope this makes it more clear what the issue is.

Thank you!
