Activity Map toolbar is not shown in the browser

I have just installed the browser plugin for the Activity Map, but when I click on the plugin, the toolbar is not displayed on our websites.

However, when I click on the browser plugin here on the community site, the toolbar for the Activity Map is displayed.

App Measurement is installed, was also checked using Adobe Experience Platform Debugger and Activity Map is also enabled in the Reportsuite settings.

AppMeasurement version: 2.22.3 (Live) and 2.25.0 (QA)

What could be the problem that I can't see the toolbar on our pages?

Hmm maybe CSS on your site is causing it to be hidden... as in, it's there... but it's being affected by site styles?

Hi Brigit

Try to Re-install the Extension and then restart the browser. If possible restart your computer as well. It will work.

Some times,  this can be because of the Browser also.

Hi  @SrikrishnaChaitanya , I had already tried this but without a computer restart. So I re-installed it again, restarted browser and computer but the behavior is the same.

Is it possible that some code on your website is throwing a JS error in conjunction with the plugin??

Do you see any errors in your browser's console related to extensions? (Note there could be many, so it's good to look at a baseline first, then with the Activity Map enabled)

Unfortunately I do not see any errors in the browser console regarding the extension.

Whoot! Glad that was it... if this is going to be a recurring issue, you could probably use an Extension like Stylus to create a CSS overwrite to show the toolbar. Basically like adding a user level StyleSheet that only works on your browser / experience... or at least until you can convince your Dev team to fix the CSS to not interfere with that extension.
