Activity Map Showing same Rank for more than one button

Hi,

Activity Map shows the same values and rank for the buttons which comes under same region and LinkID. How can I differentiate the button ranks. What possibly the reason which causing this issue?

Activity map measures link tracking on the basis of following two parameters:

  •          Primary ID: this is the recognizable parameter of the link.
  •          Link Region: this is a secondary parameter that allows users to specify a string that is representative of the overall link area in the page or region. This parameter can be automatically generated if it is not provided by the user.

If any of the above parameter matches for all the buttons, we would expect the same no in overlay.

This usually happens when the two links have the same properties in which case Activity map is not able to distinguish between the links and considers them one. 

 

You might want to change some attributes of the two links.
