Data feeds to Azure Blob Storage

Currently the only way to send analytics datafeeds to a Aure Blob storage is by sharing storage keys & account details. We see this as a security risks to our azure  accounts. A way around this is to  use SAS tokens to give access the Azure BLOB container storage via CLI(Command Line Interafaces). Could this option be added to Analytics Data feeds.

Hi,

We don't currently support SAS-Token authentication in Data Feed Azure Blob delivery. We support account key authentication. The Account Key (is also called "storage account key" or "access key") is a base64 encoded string that can be located at the customer's storage account settings.

For information on Azure Blob as delivery destination for data feed, you can refer to the following document:

https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/analytics/export/analytics-data-feed/create-feed.html

Hope this helps!

Thanks,

Saumya

Hi,

Does data feed still support only share key authentication?

This authentication method is legacy and not recommended by Microsoft anymore. Instead, Microsoft recommends authentication using Azure AD credentials.

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/storage/common/shared-key-authorization-prevent?tabs=portal

The security policy of our company also does not allow shared key-based authentication. Do you have any updates?
