Apparently if you edit a dashboard that is already scheduled, it does NOT send out the most recent updated version of that dashboard.
Instead you need to reschedule the whole thing again, go back in and find and delete the old scheduled version (which can be tricky as invariably they are scheduled the same).
If you schedule a dashboard to come each month, it should pull from the current version of that dashboard that you have saved. Not an old one!
