Analysis Workspace: Show value on mouseover in a line chart (or other visualizations

When mousing over a data point in a chart, it would be nice to see the actual value for the point.

When anomalies are turned on, the mouseover shows the anomaly detail (% above/below expected). It seems like a natural that the actual value would show when mousing over. The date is nice, but that's actually easier to figure out from the x-axis. Ideally, it would show both.

I realize this detail is in the underlying table, but I frequently kill the table and just leave the line chart, so the user loses the ability to see the specific value.

Hi @GilliganOnData2, I think we already do this. We don't show it directly over the data point, but it is in the legend. See screen shot: Screen Shot 2016-11-16 at 12.38.55 AM.png

Is there something I am missing here? Is the lesson just that users may not think to look over there, so it should be closer to the data point itself?

Ah. But...that only works if the legend is displayed, I guess. And, the legend is redundant on a single line chart. I usually turn off the legend in the battle to not have the charts to try to preserve space where I can.
