Allow for more than 400 rows of data in Analytics Workspace

Workspace has been by go to reporting canvas since its release and I find myself relying on Data Extract, Data Warehouse & Ad Hoc reporting for larger data sets and analysis.

It would be helpful to allow for a larger data set threshold within Analytics Workspace.

Any news about downloading the entire data set as CSV or showing up more than 400 rows at the same time?

Downloading more than 400 rows is something we are still working toward! I will update the status of this thread as it progresses.

I requested this about 2 years ago when it was announced Ad Hoc Analysis would be sunset and it was guaranteed that if AHA were made unavailable, that Analysis Workspace would have the same capacity to perform large data pulls as I had previously done in Discover. This seems like a very easy thing to do - about a year ago you could pull only 200 rows of data and that limit was increased to 400. Have that same person/department change the 4 to a 5 and put a couple of extra zeros on the end. Am I overlooking some complexities here?

We aren't considering raising the UI limit at this time, because it will hinder project performance. We are working toward allowing for large downloads however, which will require a new user experience & new architecture be built. We are still committed to closing this gap prior to setting a precise EOL date for Ad Hoc Analysis.

Hi Jen, great to hear you are still working on the export

Just wondered if you are still considering changes to the format of the export to make it easier to work with?

(as per your comment in the following thread: https://forums.adobe.com/ideas/10152 )

Yes - our hope is to include options when you are requesting your download to remove total rows, flatten out the header rows, etc so that the downloaded file is immediately usable.

@jenla5 As we approach the new year I was hoping to inquire if this request status has moved? Any update?

@jenla5 Can Adobe please consider to release this feature sometime in this new decade?

Downloading more than 400 rows is something we are working toward in this decade 🙂 The UI limit will remain 400 rows at this time.
