Hello Ad Cloud Community, 

 

In this blog series, we'll be highlighting some commonly asked tips and tricks to get you familiarized with the Ad Cloud Solution. Please see the our first round of common questions below. If you have any questions, feel free to comment below or send me a direct message. 

 

  • Can you send AA reports to outside users?
    Yes, you can use the "Send File" option where the user is able to enter the email addresses for the final recipients of the report.
  • Is CTV available in Analytics for Ad Cloud 
    CTV is listed as the "Preroll" Ad Type (Interactive Preroll is desktop/mobile). Note - CTV conversions are not available due to most CTV inventory being cookie-less environments. Only CTV cost & impression data is available.
  • Why is there a discrepancy between AMO Clicks and AMO Clickthroughs?
    AMO Clicks measure how often an ad was clicked, while AMO Clickthroughs measure how often an ad was clicked and they made it to the landing page. The variance is due to users who click an ad but exit-out/back-out before reaching the landing page.
  • What discrepancy should I expect to see between Ad Cloud and Analytics for Ad Cloud metrics (Cost, Impressions, Clicks, etc.)?
    There is usually no discrepancy between these metrics, but if there is, it would typically be minimal (in the 0.5-2% range).
  • Why is there a discrepancy between Ad Cloud conversion counts and Analytics conversion counts?
    Possible explanations include: Difference in lookback windows, different attribution models, or some latent conversions may be able to be attributed to Adobe Analytics but not Ad Cloud.
