Adobe Workfront

Hi All,I'm new to both Power BI and API calls (I've used the Custom API Call module in Fusion but nothing much beyond that), and I have a couple of questions for folks who have used both with Workfront.I started experimenting with WF API calls in Power BI. After reading Rick's reply in this post, I was able to build a successful search query in Power BI Desktop (passing along the key name in the query and entering the actual key only in the credentials dialog box). This worked, and I was able to publish a chart I built from the query to the Power BI Service. However, I received an error when attempting to refresh the data directly from Power BI Service and discovered that there is no option for entering an API key there (it can only be entered from Desktop).In WF's API Basics documentation it states "The preferred method of authentication is to pass a request header named SessionID containing the session token." Hi All!Do you know if there's a way to sum all the elements of the array in Workfront Planning?The current scenario I follow is:- in the record type A i have the planned activities where we calculated the required effort with some formula- in the record type B I want to display the sum of the efforts but while adding the connected field, I can't aggregate it by SUM (probably because it's created by formula). It only displays as an array of values.Therefore my question: how to easily summarize the array elements?Many thanks for all the ideas!

Does anyone have experience with using the 'image' type field in a custom form? I have saved an image to the Workfront documents area, shared that document with everyone in system and used the AWS url link given in the preview of the document. When I look at the custom form, I see "please enter a valid link" and no actual image. Any suggestions?  Thanks in advance

Does anyone have text mode that will remove the hyperlink within a report in Workfront that is a user reference / typeahead field? I know this has been asked but I didn't find a clear answer so posting again. Thanks in advance! 

I need to be able to create a chart that shows how many projects a user has been on. For example, how many jobs has a designer been on this year?I have tried various text mode, assignment reports, task reports, project reports and can't get where I need to be.A designer could have multiple assignments (tasks) on one project, but I can't find a way to essentially report the number of projects a designer was a "user" on. Anyone solved this riddle? Thank you in advance!

I have an Assignment Report showing Tasks assigned to users with a specific job role. I am unable to edit the report in-line which I saw a post relating to adding this text mode to make it editable but it's not working: isInlineEditable=true Anyone know how to get an assignment report to be editable in-line.

Hello, I have built a layout template and assigned it to a couple users. However, the "Home Workspace" does not show as designed for the assigned template. I am a system administrator so the layout template I apply should override and take priority. I even changed the individual user's layout template to the template I created yet the home workspace still does not match. This seems to be an issue with the "Home Workspace" as all other objects have updated. Is this an ongoing issue with the new Home Workspace, has this been fixed yet?

Anyone know of a way to pull data from a Task Custom Field into a Project Custom Field using a Calculated Field? Thanks!

Hello,I'm trying to create a report in WF Global that shows the total hours an employee has entered in a month for a project, without showing entry by entry. So, for example, I'd like to see:Project 123456 - Employee John Doe - Month June 2025 - Total hours 56 I've tried using the Total Hours option, but it still shows time entry by time entry. How could I force the report o summarize by month not using Matrix? Thanks.

Hello! Is there any way to use a status again after it is deleted? It doesn't let you change the key or the equates with, so we deleted it and figured we could add it back and now I am seeing that is not doable. We want to use the status, but with a different key and different equates with. Any word on if this is going to be doable in the future?? 

For a while, my team and I have been seeing some of our global approval paths updating into private approval processes in setup. We setup our global approval processes by creating approval paths with generic job roles, then we attach those onto tasks in our templates. From there, our project managers will create projects from those templates and edit the approval process and assign them to the correct users. Every once in a while, we'll find a converted approval path in setup. Our project managers haven't seen anything out in the ordinary when updating as well. I've read the documentation about editing approval paths and it says it should only impact the object it's attached to. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar to this situation and if this is normal behavior?

I created an hours report that breaks down hours by hour type in separate columns. Is it possible to sum each column? I am trying to build a report that pulls the number of projects a user was assigned to rather than the number of individual tasks within a project. I've tried a project, task, and assignment report but I cannot seem to get it to function correctly.  Example: A chart that shows how many projects each user on Designer Team was assigned to this year -- NOT how many tasks they completed. Has anyone successfully built something similar or is this not possible to do?
