Hello,Is it possible to create dynamic templates that can be used when creating a project from either a template or a request?For example:When creating a new project and selecting a template, can related sub-templates be displayed under the main template for selection?If that is not possible, is there an alternative approach where, after selecting a template, certain fields on the project creation page can be used to dynamically adjust values—such as applying a different template configuration or modifying custom fields based on those inputs?

I have a ticket open with Support about this, but I’m curious to know if anyone else is facing this. We have a large number of dashboards pinned via Layout Template to the Portfolio or Program object - things like a portfolio snapshot, program snapshot, air traffic control, that sort of thing. Previously, you could build the reports on those dashboards and not require a filter for a specific program or portfolio - they would automatically filter results down to the respective object you were viewing the pinned dashboard from. So if you were viewing the dashboard from within Portfolio A, it would NOT show you results from Portfolio B or Portfolio C. However, if you opened a specific report in another tab outside of the current Portfolio, it would show you results from the entire system (assuming you didn’t have something in your filter to prevent that from happening).Today, our Portfolio pinned dashboards work as expected, but our Program ones do not. I’m currently working on cleaning up and standardizing our project templates and I’d love to hear how others are managing this.When updates are needed to a template, do you typically:Update the active template directly, or Create a new version (copy), make updates, and deactivate/archive the old one?I’m leaning toward a versioning approach for better governance, but I’m curious how others are handling:Template version control Naming conventions Preventing users from selecting outdated templatesWould love to hear what’s working well for your teams or any lessons learned. Hi ,I have a requirement related to Proof approvals in Workfront.I have assigned 3 approvers to a proof. Out of these, 2 users have already approved the proof, and 1 user has not responded.When the proof reaches its deadline, Workfront sends reminder notifications to all 3 approvers. However, my requirement is:👉 Only the approver who has NOT yet approved should receive the email notification👉 Approved users should NOT receive further remindersAs per current native functionality, reminders are sent to all reviewers regardless of their decision status.Is there any way to:Restrict deadline/reminder notifications only to pending approvers? Or achieve this using Workfront Fusion or any workaround?Any suggestions or best practices would be greatly appreciated.

I had at least one admin asking me about this over breakfast -- when a project is set to Planning, this is equivalent to issue status NEW which is why your actual start date keeps getting overwritten. Hi, I’m looking for some advice.I have a user who is trying to add a new task to the bottom of a project. The task above it is a recurring task, but this new task should be a separate item. However, when they add it at the bottom, it automatically indents under the recurring task instead of appearing as its own task.At the moment, the only workaround is to add the new task at the top of the project. Is there a way to add a task directly to the bottom of the project without it being nested under the recurring task?

After the quarterly release yesterday, some users received a late notification email overnight regarding a task called “Discover the New Work List,” found in the User Name Tasks projects. Did anyone else get this notification?This text was included at the end of the notification email:“Description:This is the new overview page. We've added commonly-used information like due date, the project this task belongs to, associated URLs and more. But don't worry, you can change all this as you like. Just select the three dots in the top right of the details section and select <b>Customize</b>. All of the updates on the right of this box are updates associated with this task. If you want to see more details on this task, select the <b>Details</b> tab under the title.”The Discover the new work list task doesn’t show in the User Name projects task list.Thanks  

We are looking into sharing final files from our documents section in Workfront with an external partner/agency to create efficiencies. Is there a way to trigger a notification with the documents in an email to a partner through Fusion to be sent directly to the partner? 

Hello Everyone, I would like to add a team / user on Workfront project (i.e. people section of the WF project).I tried the beloew  Custom API module  URI : prjusr Method : Post  Query String : ProjectID & UserIDError : Invalid Json at line 1 (If the parameters are passed in the Body section) -OR- null objCode (when the parameters were passed as Query Strings)   Create Record Record type : Project User Passed both fields : Project ID & User ID Error : PRTU is not a top level object 

I created a report using text mode to group a task report by assignment, program and portfolio. I can see the groupings in the report details, but charting is not working. When I try to group the chart by program, I only see “project,” which does not give me what I’m looking for. Hello!Has anyone seen any documentation on what’s included in the various Planning packages? I've seen names like Planning Plus and Planning Prime but struggling to find what’s included in them. I did find this information in the Experience League article about what was included in the trial but not sure if that’s what is in Planning Prime for just the trial or if this is the standard offerings in Planning Prime. I have a task report where I have a text mode column that is showing the assigned to name of a different task than what I’m reporting on which is why it’s in text mode. But as we know with text mode, if the project has more than one task that meets the criteria, it’s going to pull two names into that column. Is it possible to expand on my existing text mode to only show one name in the column based on another field I’m using called “related invoice date”  so for example, my current text mode is:  displayname=Report Writerlistdelimiter=<div>listmethod=nested(project.tasks).liststype=iteratevalueexpression=IF({name}='Report Writer Allocation',{assignedTo}.{name})valueformat=HTML and I want the value expression to be:  if the name contains report writer AND the related invoice date is last year, then show the assigned to name. Is this possible? If so, can someone help me with the text mode?

Does anyone knows the API for converting an issue to a project in postman?

When we audit all the campaigns couple of years later, its very difficult to two things:1. If someone has added or removed any custom forms. We have no audit trail on the campaign.On the copied campaign, we never come to know how the campaign was created. Either it was created by a user through converting into a template, or it was copied from an old campaign.Does anyone track that at your organisation?
