We had a few leads register for an event while the event was deactivated in marketo. I now have 6 leads I have added to our salesforce campaign, but I need to get them into the marketo campaign. What is the best way to get those members into the campaign and campaign flow?

Hello!   When we set up Marketo, we had wanted everything to synch back and forth to our Dynamics 365 instance. However, that is no longer the case. How do I change this?  I'm thinking I need a triggered smart campaign that says if Synch to D365 checked, then synch. If not, then do nothing. Do I need to do anything on the Dynamics side?

Hello Everyone,   I am looking for an easy way to test the web forms we have in our company website. At the moment, we go into each forms inside the website and fill them out individually to see whether everything is working ad the UTM Params are passing properly. I want to find an easy self sufficient way instead of doing this one by one manually. Does anyone have a good idea on how I can test these web forms out in Marketo to see people are flowing in as expected and the UTM params getting tracked properly?   Thank you!

Hello good afternoon, I am having trouble understanding how a Person update in Marketo causes Salesforce to enter in an infinite loop of sorts via Field Tracking in the related list of Contact History. For example: My coworker checked the field "Email Invalid" in Marketo for a Person record. It saves. 5 minutes later it gets synced into Salesforce. But it never stops it keeps checking and unchecking. The Problem: The Marketo Sync User Checks the Email Invalid Field to True. Then it looks at the Email Invalid Cause. Then it Unchecks the Email Invalid Field to False. And the cycle repeats an infinite number of times 5 days a week Monday-Friday ever since May 2022 when I first started working here! My temporary solution: I don't know why an edit from Marketo into Salesforce creates this infinite loop. But, when I go to the record in Salesforce and then it Syncs into Marketo it works and stops and only updates once. So Marketo to Salesforce creates a loop. Salesforce to Marketo works fin

Hi all,   a People Performance Report has a "Group By" function:   A very handy feature, of course. But: When we add Custom Columns to a Report we usually don't want to group by something, because the Custom Columns are already grouping. But we cannot not group, can we? I've checked through the Forum and I can't find any solution that fixes this.All I did was duplicate an existing URL variable in my email and referenced them as such in the HTML. Tricky one here. I've used an email token to spit out a variable in an email program. But in Apple Mail and Outlook 2014 there are weird spaces inserted before and after the token. See below.The token is £100 GBP. The random spaces are definitely not part of the code. Weird things I found out:* When I simply put the plain text of "£100 GBP" as the output of the email script, the weird spaces remain. So it's nothing to do with my code.* When I use a Plain Text token instead of an Email Script token (effectively making the token static), it works fine. This might be something purely in Apple Mail and Outlook (it looks fine in Outlook365.com, interestingly enough), but in any case I can't risk it. I had to use an alternative subject line instead of something dynamic.Has anyone encountered this before? I've asked Support but basically since it's to do with email rendering they have said they can't help me.Phil

I know MSI send marketo email has a maximum send of 200 at a time. But we'd like to limit it to something like 5 or less to discourage the use of the tool for mass emailing.  Is this possible? Has anyone figured out how?

I have a Form hosted on a Landing Page. A link to the landing page will be included in an email we send to customers.I would like customers to click the link in the email, navigate to the landing page, and the form have 1 of the fields pre-filled with their customer number. My customers are synced to Salesforce (SFDC), and I have included the mapped field in the Marketo form, however it is not populating. I have tested this with my own SFDC contact record and ensure that the field is in fact filled in within SFDC.  The field within the Marketo form has pre-filled enabled, and I have been into the Admin settings to also check that the Landing Page settings have Form prefill enabled.   Any ideas why this field is not populating in my test?

I want to update Opportunity fields and certain Account fields (for ex Account owner) using API. It seems Marketo is not exposing their API names. Can someone suggest how to do that?

Hello. We are in the process of changing call center systems and currently use a marketo form to push alerts into the call center system. We use our own domain to send and a different email address (also our domain) for reply-to. So when our customer service team gets an alert message, they have to manually change the email address from the set reply-to address to the email address of the form submitter listed in the alert copy. They are asking if we could populate the form submitters email address as the from address (and reply-to address) in the alert message, but I am thinking this may cause deliverability issues based on SPF, DKIM, or DMARC settings. Is anyone able to provide some additional information about this? Thanks in advance.

Hello, I'd like to be able to share the rich Web Page Activity report with reps on a regular basis. But there isn't a way that I know of to filter by Account or Contact owner as there are only a limited number of filters available for that report type (see screenshot). So a rep would have to sift through every person on the report to try and identify people who are from their territory. Anyone have any ways they are doing this (outside of a smart list subscription as that does not include actual website visit info)? Thanks for any input.

I am looking for ideas / suggestions / recommendations for the following situation.    We are setting up a Marketo program where a lead will fill out a form and in the flow, they will receive a KickBack email.  In the Kickback email, we want to include a Unique Discount Code - every lead would get 1 code.   I see the Referral Offer campaign - is this the best option?     any advice would be great.

I am trying to add a new field to a form that contains custom CSS on a Landing Page with a JavaScript section that also contains form formatting. The person who created the original form and LP is no longer with the company. Adding the new field messes up the format. I'm not a coder and can't figure out how to make the form look right with the new field. I'm hoping that for someone who does know CSS and Marketo forms that it would be easy to spot what to do to fix this. If so, I'd be grateful for help. Hi there!!    We are looking to build out an attribution model in 2021 so we can begin to more accurately track mktg contribution to sales pipeline. Recently our org just adopted Tableau and we were able to set up Marketo and SFDC integrations. Our hope is that we would be able to leverage Tableau to build out these models using data from both Marketo and SFDC.   I am working on my analytics skills, but there is a lot left for me to learn. We are looking to bring on some additional help to build out these models. So far, I have chatted with Perkuto and Digital Pi, and it seems like this ask is harder than we anticipated.    Has anyone built out an attribution model / reporting in Tableau? Any recommendations on where to start or who to partner with to help us build this out? To be honest, I have no idea where to begin!

What should be the program channel type - To track form fills from marketo landing page via email program (email CTA has a link to marketo landing page)

I'm trying to break up picklist values into separate categories to look like this: Does anyone know how to do this?   My thinking is that each checkbox would have a unique code combination that will reflect the interest.
