Adobe Marketo Engage

I have created some velocity script for an event program I am creating so that I can display the multiple sessions someone registers for in one autoresponder. It is working, although it is indenting when the values show in the email. Here is the script:      #if ($lead.rentalAMER12.contains("D1-AIML-01")) <table> <tr> <td>#N/A</td> </tr> <tr> <td>12:00-12:40pm - Room 100</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </table> <br> #end     Here is the test email that has #N/A in place of the session title   Is there any easy way to get it to be left aligned?    

Is there a difference between Transactional and Operational emails? Specially when it comes to GDPR laws and how does Marketo differentiate between the two.

Is there a way to write a list of all the people that have been added to a Markto Sales Insight Watch List? I looked in the Activity Log, but I'm not seeing an incoming Activity. I looked in SFDC, and I'm not seeing a record of it their either.

Hi everyone, due to the planned maintenance in the data center our Marketo instance is hosted, we received a question from our client. They would like to know which error message is shown, if an embedded Marketo form is requested from the Marketo server which is not avaialble during the request. I could not find any information in the script loaded on the website. Is there anyone who can provide the message or a screenshot? Or is nothing shown because the scripts can also be not loaded? Reason for that request is the maintenance note which was send to us containing following line:  "Landing Pages and Forms – Landing pages and forms will be inaccessible and, instead, error messages will be displayed. This will also affect client-facing landing pages and forms."   Best Regards, Dominic

Hi All,   My customer is using a Marketo form which has Email address field (Data type = Email) without any custom validation on it. The issue is when I am using this form on Marketo Landing page, it is not allowing me to enter email address with "@gmail.com", @yahoo.com etc, and throwing an error "Please enter valid email address". I have checked the form validation rules and it's inactive and disabled at the form level as well. It seems like this rule is set at the backend but I am not able to cross check it (if any). Could you please let me know what could be the solution to tackle this issue and make my form field to accept all the domains ?

Hello Marketo Community -    I have an engagement program that consists of three streams (Awareness, Consideration, and Decision).    We are launching without the Awareness content as it's still being planned.    My question is, will the Awareness stream still be my default stream in this case? I just want to make sure that I don't need to remove the 'Change Engagement Program Stream' in the Consideration stream. To start, only engaged members will start on the Consideration Stream.       

We need to send to many customers (business customers) with the same email address in the same campaign. The data is coming from various APIs going to a single list but Marketo de-dupes and only one of the business accounts. We have several instances and many partitions. ideally, we would like to be able to send dupes in only one partition.

Hello!   I am working on a project where a client has two instances of Marketo and one is brand new and I am working on the admin set up tasks. They would like to use the same From Domain across both instances, example.company.com. My understanding is that this is not advised as an alias value is only allowed to appear once per DNS zone. Is my understanding correct? Would the best course of action be to have them establish a different domain for the new instance? Thank you.

Does anyone know how to format a logo image for dark mode computers? (Setting up within Marketo plain text emails) 

Objective: I need to create a campaign which accepts future date in "Marketing Consent Event Date" and "Privacy Notice Given Date" fields. Problem: There is one trigger campaign created at the operational level which triggers when the Privacy Notice value gets updated and it changes the Privacy Notice date to be {{system.date}}. However, I created my trigger campaign (which includes the triggers for Marketing Consent, Marketing Consent Event date, Privacy Notice, Privacy Notice Given date triggers and filters) and set the priority as "High" so that I can override the already created trigger, and set the dates to be {{system.date}} + 1days in the flow step as can be seen in the snapshot below:   The issue is my campaign is overriding the operational trigger campaign and setting the dates to be 1 day in future but after a couple of seconds, the operational campaign runs and changes the Privacy Notive Given date back to {{system.date}}. Does a function exist for Velocity that will transform a string of text to title caps format?  For example, if first name is in all-caps, how can output that as Xxxxx?

Is there a way to integrate Marketo with a project management tool like Wrike or Hive? I'm not absolutely sure about the benefits of such an integration but curious to know if someone has tried this and been successful with their goals. Thanks.

Hello, Looking for any advice/thoughts on how anyone here utilizes the Munchkin cookie with a CMS in order to identify users? Currently looking to work with our Kentico 13 platform which uses contact groups to identify users (through Form entries and anonymously through web visits).Any advice on how to potentially take an identifier on the CMS end and then tie that to the Marketo Lead? If we sent an identifier from Marketo to Kentico, would it be possible to tie the two platforms together?

Hi, I created a form with the Country field and used the Select option and populated the values -- I am able to select a country in the preview mode, but when the form is added to a landing page - the country I select does not show in the field box.  Is there a solution?

Hi all,  We have fields in Marketo mapped to Salesforce.  These fields have pulled data from Salesforce to Marketo (we don't want and have now used the option to "Block data from - Salesforce".  But the data isn't being pushed from Marketo to Salesforce. The integration user has read and write access to these fields.  How can we update which direction the data flows for these fields?    Thanks!

Hello all,  I'm trying to figure out if its possible to setup a trigger based on no activity on an form within a specific timer period.    Specific use case:We web form that uses an API to pass submissions to a Marketo form.  This form gets filled out many times every single day.  We recently had an issue where due to a bug by IT the API handshake between the web and the form was failing.  It took several days for me to catch this issue.   I'm wondering if it was possible to create a trigger that I could use to send myself and alert email if the form doesn't get a submission in a day.  Because all the trigger activities are based on PEOPLE's actions I am thinking this probably isn't possible, but before I give up on this idea I wanted to check with the Marketo HiveMind  ThanksMatthew 

I've noticed recently that it's possible for a field to be referenced by certain objects in Marketo - such as Launchpoint services like LinkedIn Lead Gen, and Revenue Cycle Analytics - and yet still have the "Field Used By" list show as blank. (RCE does show a helpful error message when trying to hide/modify a field, but still isn't visible on the list.)   Are there other objects that anyone has seen reference a field without it showing in "Field Used By?"

Hi everyone. I am bumping into an issue when using campaigns within my programs when using the  "add to SFDC" step in the flow section. I'm indicating the campaign to look for a specific list and simply send those contacts over to a specific campaign in salesforce. It worked well for most for the list but I keep getting this message for some of them: Failed: {DUPLICATES_DETECTED: Use one of these records?}.   Does anyone know if I can set rules around how to treat duplicated? id like to specify what happens to the contact instead of it just not being added?   Any help or insight here would be extremely valuable.

I have integrated Showpad with Marketo and set up the following flow in Marketo to get Showpad shares to be added to Salesforce campaigns. The problem is it does not seem to be picking up any results despite Showpad shares happening from Showpad. I have not been able to get any good answers from Showpad themselves on how to manage this integration so I'm hoping someone on the forum can help me understand how I can get Showpad shares to record and then sync to Salesforce campaigns.   Any advice on how anyone has achieved this is welcome.
