Adobe Marketo Engage

Hello Community,    I am seeking advise to see if its possible to display smart list results in a salesforce dashboard or whether this could only be archived via a 3rd party provider.    Example:  We have a smart list which identifies members of a key audience. A 2nd smart list looks at certain engagement activity from those within the key audience list such as if they carried out any of the following in a certain timeframe; - Filled out a form  - Filled out LinkedIn Lead Gen form - Subscribed to email comms  - Downloaded gated content  etc    The results are obviously just displayed as a list of people, but I would like improve how the results are displayed for sharing with internal stakeholders.    Is it possible to interpret a smart list into a Salesforce dashboard and has anyone successfully achieved this before?  We use salesforce dashboards to report on leads etc, but noticed the above types of fields don't seem to

I was browsing through some of the REST API's on Marketo's developer site and I stumbled upon the API on how to get deleted leads.Get Deleted Leads » Marketo Developers . Has anyone tried it out.Couple of question if you have tried it out:-- How far back in time we can go to pull the leads that have been deleted?-- Is there a way to pull email address of the deleted lead? [ I was only able to see the lead name in the primary attribute of the response]-- Are you able to find about the leads that were deleted on a specific day or within a specific timeframe (let's say month of August 2016)Looking forward to your inputs.

We are setting up our first engagement stream and need some help. We are trying to run tests on the engagement stream and are also wanting the sales rep to receive an alert email when that contact receives each email in the stream. While we are testing, we have put ourselves as the sales rep, but the alerts are not coming through when we receive an email. Do the alerts not trigger because they are test emails and the stream isn't live yet? I just want to be sure that they are working before we launch.

I'm not the usual user of our system, and we have an URGENT customer email.  I can't get the logo to come through on preview or the sample emails. Any suggestions.    No spaces in the image name.  It's in Design Studio, but it won't come through. 

Hi Team, I hope everyone is keeping well! I just had a thought on iOS 17 policy that will be released in September or early October. As we know that the link tracking information will be removed from the links users share in Messages and Mail, and the links will still work as expected. This will have an impact on Marketo's tracking paarameter mkt_tok as well.  Will this have any impact on Zoom Integration and Marketo forms that we use for webinar registration? We also use Marketo Landing Pages on our website. Will this have any impact on it? Happy to hear your thoughts or correct my understanding.   Kind Regards, Vidhi

I am trying to backfill data for a new field - Last Lead Source (with a new process behind it). As many of you probably have Lead Source/Last Lead Source set up, the field values are calculated based on UTMs primarily but with fallbacks when UTMs are not available. We do use Program channel > Status change quite a bit and certain forms submitted also in some source calculations.    To backfill Last Lead Source I would need to get the latest program channel > Status change for each contact that lacks Last Lead source data.  Similarly, though less important, getting the latest form that was submitted by contact. Ideally I'd want to get to this level  Contact name/ID Latest program channel > Status change Latest form submitted Person A Hosted Webinar > Attended Glo

I am looking to recreate something in Marketo that was possible in systems like Eloqua. Basically I have a list of 300 email addresses that I want to load into a Custom Data Object, but I do NOT want them to create contact records in Marketo. I want to use this Object to exclude this list of emails from a Smart List in an email send.    Is this possible in Marketo?

I am capturing UTM parameters in hidden fields on Marketo forms via cookie. Recently we noticed that some of users UTM values are not being captured in the hidden fields even though the UTM parameters are in website cookies. We reviewed the java script for the cookie code and its storing the values.   Does anyone know if there's a problem or if there are any bugs related to the forms in Marketo? I have a big event to create a registration page and form for. We are using "rental fields" for the timeframes (example 12:00-1:00pm) and then each session within that timeframe will be a value (session ID) in that same field. From there, I have a smart campaign that is looking for a data value in that rental field "containing" the session ID to pull them into their perspective event programs. I've tested what would happen if someone signed up for multiple sessions in one time frame and it isn't working as expected. I believe its because the values are being stored with";" at the end of the session ID. How can make sure this doesn't happen? Ideally, we don't want people to sign up for multiple in one timeframe anyway so is there a way to block them from doing that or at the very least, can we have them get pulled into all programs?   Here's any example of the form (the form won't show on the page like this so don't mind the non-stylized/complete version. I'm seeking input on how to best capture each email sent to individual recipients. I work in the financial services industry where we're required to retain any correspondence sent out to our membership. We were looking at adding a BCC field to each email program, but this is going to create a massive influx of emails to store. Does anyone have ideas, input, product suggestions? Thank you!

Hi,   Can we move program status in forward/backward ?    In my scenario, data is received twice a week, and there's a possibility that the next batch of data may include individuals already present in the previous batch. Such common records also must be targeted. The client requires a report that tracks sent, delivered, opened, clicked, and purchased counts. To achieve this, I've established a four-step channel with designated sequential step numbers. The campaign activity reports allow the client to observe counts based on trigger campaigns.   However, in cases where a person's status changes to "clicked checkout page" in the first round, but in the subsequent round, they didn't click the checkout page only opens the email, then it should be reclassified as "Opened." The Email Scripting documentation has the following hint:"For Marketo custom objects, you can reference second level custom objects with Parent-Child relationship.  e.g. Lead <- Parent <- Child" https://developers.marketo.com/email-scripting/   How do I go about actually creating such a custom object relationship?If I link the Parent object to the Lead, I am unable to create a link between the Child object and the Parent (does not show up as a linkable object).

I have a date field that I am pulling from a custom list, and I'm getting the date expected, but I want to take that date and add ten years to it. So I have the beginning date, and I want to create a field that shows the end date which is ten years after the opening.I've not been able to figure out how to add the ten years. Hi Community,   Our team is seeing an unusual situation where the Email report in a smart campaign is including emails that were not sent in that campaign. This is happening in several campaigns, from what we can tell.   For example, the emails outlined in Red below were never sent from the campaign but are appearing in the report (unusually it's only showing 1 send for each email). The emails outlined in green were all sent from the campaign.     You can tell the difference because the email name includes the campaign name (01 Abandoned Car Search - Product (Day 1 - 10), whereas the email name for the other campaigns does not include the campaign name.   Has anyone seen this before, and if so, any idea what's happening?   Thank you, LK

Hello Marketo Community, I'm currently working on integrating Cvent with Marketo and have encountered an issue with the Marketo partition assignment feature. https://developers.cvent.com/doc/marketo-integration/#11938 Despite following the integration steps, I'm facing difficulties in getting the partition asisgnment feature to work seamlessly.  We have created a custom field in Event object in Cvent and are unable to map this with the Marketo Lead Partion ID.  Has anyone else experienced a similar challenge with the Cvent and Marketo integration? If so, could you kindly share your insights or best practices for troubleshooting and resolving this specific issue?    Thanks Malay
