Conversational flow asking for email twice to book meetings.Basically, they fill out the demo form, and that form asks for an email. Then once they submit the form, the calendar booking features asks for the email again to show calendar times. How can I bypass the second email input? Thanks! 

Hello,Our emails addresses in Marketo are not all synchronized with Salesforce and we don't want that to change. However, we want leads and contacts in Salesforce to be synchronized to Marketo. But we want to prevent duplicates from Salesforce in Marketo. How can we do this given the fact that even by preventing the duplicates, we need some fields from Salesforce to be added to the contact in Marketo (ex: SFDC Type,..)? Could we merge the Salesforce contact with the Marketo contact? Any idea? Many thanksBest regards,

I'm looking to setup some fields that would store prices in them (e.g., 46.10) for a custom object—prior to now, I've always used float field types to hold this sort of information. From a structural point of view, are there any advantages/disadvantages to using the currency field type instead? This data would not be displayed in any emails/landing pages/etc., so formatting is less of an issue. Are there any plans to support multiple currencies?

Hello Marketing Nation.   I'm running into an issue and would like your collective thoughts on this one.   We're looking to send an email based on an anniversary date.  Yes, there are several threads about this type of scenario... however, this one is different - and here's why.   We're a financial institution/Bank and we provide checking accounts, savings accounts, mortgages, etc.  We're trying to send an email based on the members anniversary date - the date of when they opened their first product.  Someone could have multiple 'account open date' values and we're looking to identify the oldest date and trigger the membership email based on that date.     We currently use a custom object to bring in our product related data.  This includes the 'open date/create date' of the accounts.  The challenge is that an individual record may have multiple 'open dates' because they have multiple products with us and they would have a unique o

Hello Marketo experts,  I'm testing a new engagement program where I have 2 streams, one that sends out emails and another empty one (No emails) called Exit stream. People were mistakenly added to the Exit stream via a trigger campaign. What will be the best way to remove them from that stream so that if I add them again they will receive the emails from Stream 1? Should I change their statuses to Not in Program? 

Hi there,   I'm wondering if it's possible to sync Zoom webinar registrants to Marketo from the Zoom webinar registration page/form. I know previously Zoom-Marketo integration didn't sync registration details from Zoom to Marketo, only attended information post-event.   My understanding is that the only way to sync registrants to Marketo is by using a Marketo form on an LP, import via csv or use a tool like Zapier. Is this correct - webinar registrants won't sync to Marketo from the Zoom webinar registration page even with Zoom as a LaunchPoint service? 

I am trying to sync the webinar attendees/no-shows. Zoom is sending over the Attended and syncing them to the salesforce campaign but not the no-shows. 

Hello, We're working on a process to use Program Statuses and Reporting to track emails and also track funded products. The only problem is the majority of our data lives in custom objects.I understand you can use Velocity to access custom object data within emails and all that - BUT is it possible to write a script that changes a data value on the Lead Table off of a Program Status change instead of within an email?For example if my program statuses are as follows:Added to Program - 10Sent Email - 20Delivered Email - 30Opened Email - 40Clicked Email - 50Funded Account - 60Since the time between the email reception and funding an account could be a while - is there a way to write a Velocity script that could pull in custom object data that matches Loan Type, etc and have it write to a Custom Field but have it triggered off a "Program Status Change"?Basically if Lead A funded an Auto Loan with a balance of $20,000 - have a Velocity script run utilizing custom object data that would then

Hi everyone,   we are setting up a campaign for a contact us form. i.e. we have a contact us form on our website, we have a program that someone is added to when they filled in the form.   We then sync this over to SFDC as a campaign. We are planning to trigger a task/inform sales of a form fill like this. We capture the status and campaign membership on the lead/contact too for reporting.    This works just fine if someone just fills in a form once. But what if someone fills in the form twice or three times? It woudln't trigger the status "form filled" again because it's already there. We can go back to "member" and then"form filled" again because of the hierachy in Marketo. The only thing I can think of is a) we remove them from the campaign and add them again, b) start adding "form filled 1", "form filled 2", etc as statuses which seems messy, or c) do something different not using the member status as a trigger in SFDC to create a task.Any thoughts on this?

Hi all -   We've been rolling out Sales Insight Actions to our commercial team and I'm just curious how it's going for others doing the same. Our implementation has been problematic to say the least. I feel the documentation to be pretty lacking so hey, why not troubleshoot on the forum where at least somebody in the future might be able to find their solution via a google search.   One specific question to kick things off: Is there some sort of selective sync criteria for records to be visible in actions? We have some contacts that are visible from both SFDC and Marketo but that don't appear in Actions. Nothing obvious is sticking out to me... all have email addresses, are allowed to sync, etc.

Did Marketo modify its approval process for local and global assets? Previously, you could edit an asset even if it was being used in a live smart campaign or batch campaign. However, it appears that the current process requires no "Flow" reference to the asset before you can unapprove it. This change has made the process more difficult for our team. I'm in the process of setting up forms to replace many current forms on our site. For those who need a quick solution for live event attendance tracking in lieu of the Marketo Events App, you can use a Smart Campaign. In the Smart List, identify the emails who have checked in. Then use the “Change Program Status” Flow Step to set their attendance to “Attended” for the specific event. If you want to go further, you can create a custom/branded Landing Page and a form to collect the emails with a script that clears munchkin cookie after submission. You can then run those collected emails through the Smart Campaign you created.

Recently, my work team and I configured a flow to be able to eliminate people who will arrive with empty mail to Marketo, given that there is an integration to load the people we have in Salesforce. The flow is made with an intelligent "batch" list mode, which means that the people who are there until that day are loaded and the new people who arrive without email are not updated. That is to say, today 10/09 the flow runs but if someone new arrives tomorrow 10/10 it does not go through that flow. Is there any way to create this flow with triggers, taking into account that you want to immediately delete people who arrive without email?

I am adding a Marketo Token into a link on a Landing Page which is not allowing me to save the page. I reached out to support and they are saying this is not possible. But we tested this and it worked fine before.   So my question is can you actually use a Marketo token in a URL on a landing page?

For Sales Insight: The Sales Insight package does not have dependencies on the Salesforce url, and there is no change required on the Sales Insight side for the rollout of Enhanced Domains For Sales Insight Actions and Sales Connect only: Switching to an Enhanced Domain will impact the connection and users will need to reconnect (disconnect then connect) their Sales Insight Actions or Sales Connect account to Salesforce.  You can enable redirects to your previous domains so that users do not immediately need to reset their connection, howev
