Hi All,   I m working on merge policy and I would like to understand when we need to use ID Stitching None OR Private Graph and when to use  merge method Dataset precedence OR Timestamp ordered, mostly how to combine them. Assuming that I have this use case: 1) I want to create 5 segments that qualifies profile from all of my dataset that are enabled for profile. These segments will be used for advertsing destinations 2) I want to create 1 segment that qualifies profile from DS1, DS2,DS3 that are enabled for profile. This segment will be used for email marketing/survery destination. Any suggestion? Thanks

Hi there,   I have attributes where they specify an offer start & end date. For this example, Offer Start Date = April 1, 2023 and Offer End Date = April 30, 2023.    If I want to build a segment that says: 1) Fall into the segment only if TODAY <= Offer End Date (meaning offer is not expired), is this possible? 2) Fall into the segment from if TODAY is within Offer Start Date + 30 (April 1 +  30 days), is this possible?    Thanks, Alan

Hi team,  We have Adobe Analytics as a streaming Source into CDP. We tried to create a Segment in Adobe Analytics which we wanted to use directly into CDP. Is is possible to do so? I can see in the Segment Builder --> Audiences --> There are AAM segments visible.. but cannot find an option to directly use Adobe Analytics segments (since I'm able to see only AAM segments).Please suggest IF and How we can use the same.  Thanks,Mansi Bedi

Hello,I attempted to utilize the upsert feature of the profile dataset, but I noticed that despite following all the steps outlined in https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-platform/catalog/datasets/enable-upsert.html?lang=en, the profile data is still being replaced. Has anyone else encountered this problem? I have verified through the API that upsert is enabled, and I am sending the data via batch ingestion, which is a requirement for upsert functionality to work properly. Did anyone else faced the same issue with upsert? Thanks,Arpan

Hello Team, Need some guidance on resolving one issue related to ExperienceEvent while using them in creating Segment. Though it is mutable, we had to choose one of my dimension data as ExperienceEvent as that is having 1-to-many relationship with my customer record (array will also not work as number of records are sometimes more than 100 per customer record). For example: customer has many accounts, and account details (example: status, monthly average balance) can get changed in time. So one customer can have multiple events for a same account with different values in a certain timeframe. In this situation, how to get the latest event of the account, if I have to build a segment based on the latest information of the account? Also looking for some suggestion if there is any better way of modeling the XDM schemas for 1 to many relationships for mutable dimensions ? Hi, I am ingesting Adobe Analytics as a streaming source into CDP. I am trying to create a segment only with Adobe analytics streaming data based on URL parameter contains xxxx in segment and sending ECID attribute into SFTP destination. The website that i'm pulling the Adobe Analytics data from does not have login space, so, hashed Id is not passed through Adobe Analytics into CDP. Only ECID is passing. After creating the segment, there is no profile count coming, even though I can see the Adobe Analytics relevant records in Data Lake which I queried through query service. Can anyone suggest why? Is this because there is no HashedID? For reference --> Schema for Adobe Analytics in CDP has Hashed ID and ECID both as Secondary Identifier and the Schema is bounded on HashedID identifier for Profile Stitching with another Snowflake ingested schema. Please suggest. Thanks.

We are experiencing data gaps between AEP and CJA in our batch processing, data is getting loaded to AEP in batches but the same data w eare not seeing in the CJA. it really helps if we have any alerts in place whenever we are seeing any gaps in CJA.

I am trying to replicate a Postman request using Python. I use the Request module, specifically the Request and Session objects to create a prepared request and to send the request to the authorization API, which generates the Bearer Token. The request header in Postman includes Cache-Control, Content-Type, Content-Length and Host. The request body includes the API KEY, named client_id, client_secret and jwt_token. In Python, the header includes Cache-Control and Host. Once the request is prepared using the Request.prepare() method, the Content-Lenght and Content-Type are calculated. In the end, the header looks like this:{'Cache-Control': 'no-cache', 'Host': 'ims-na1.adobelogin.com', 'Content-Length': '774', 'Content-Type': 'application/json'} The Python request body includes the API KEY, named client_id, client_secret and jwt_token, which I create using PyJWT. Hi,I'm doing active development in a Dev Library named "Library A." I just received some new requirements that need to be implemented ASAP, but Library A is not ready. So, I'd like to create a new Dev Library ("Library B") that will copy down the current Production configuration. I can then implement my changes and publish to Production and continue working in "Library A" later. Can this be done in the same Development library (meaning I get to use the same tracking embed code), or, do I need to create a new environment? I don't see how it can be done in the same Dev library but thought I would check. Thanks!

Hi ,I have some data preparation that needs to be done while ingesting activity data from a source via streaming API's. Specifically, I am looking to set the eventType as "online.seller.event" if the person associated with the event is an online seller, and as "online.buyer.event" if the person associated with the event is an online buyer. However, information on whether the person is an online buyer or seller is only available in the profile dataset and is not present in the event table in the source system. I was wondering if there is a way to perform this calculation on-the-fly using the data-prep functions in AEP. Perhaps by querying the profile dataset associated with the ECID and setting the eventType to "online.buyer.event" if the person is an online buyer.I would appreciate any guidance or suggestions you may have on this matter. Hi, We are ingesting a Batch data from Snowflake source into CDP, with a frequency of every 3 hours. Is there a possibility to Evaluate a Batch segment (profiles are created using this snowflake data)  more than once a day? I can see that we specify a time for daily Batch Segment evaluation to happen, and then the next evaluation happens the next day same time. Is there a possibility to set evaluation time say every 3 hours or xyz hours? Please suggest.  Thanks.

We are trying to import Luma sample data into AEP. We have developed an event schema called "Luma Offline Purchase Event Schema (Demo)" which includes the Commerce Details, Luma Identity ExperienceEvent, and AEP Web SDK ExperienceEvent field groups. The Loyalty ID is set as the primary identity in this event schema. Both the schema and dataset have Profile enabled. For this schema, we have created a dataset named "Luma Offline Purchase Data" and successfully ingested the data. However, we encountered an issue where the array of objects, specifically the fields SKU and quantity within the "productListItems[]" array, are not being mapped properly. I'm looking for better ways to track analytics from mobile app. Few questions - 1) I'm using both analytics SDK (trackState, trackAction) and Adobe Edge (event based) - Any thoughts on which is better?2) Hardcoded to Dynamic - Have any of you done dynamic tagging instead of hard coding in the front-end?3) Data Layer - Anyone used data layer concepts for apps? Hi, I'm interested in using a tag management solution for Adobe Analytics, and Target looks like a good option, at least for web. However, I'm working with mobile native apps.I can't find any detailed documentation on how to dynamically manage tags for native apps. What I'm looking for specifically is how the data in the app (perhaps in the form of a data layer) is exposed from the app code to Target. For example, I want to remotely configure track actions to fire on the pages I'm interested in, with added context data surfaced by the app. If it's a web page this seems to be possible by accessing data objects contained on the page, and then the Target UI allows nice configuration of rules, events, etc. The documentation I've found so far (Add Adobe Analytics) implies that even if I implement the Experience Cloud SDK, Target and Analytics, the track states and actions still need to be hard coded in the app code. We are working on single schema across multiple digital properties and have single dataset created for these properties. Wanted to know if all data in single dataset can lead to any concerns? 1. Are there any Dataset size limitations per dataset vs combined all datasets together?2. Is there any impact of huge data size in these datasets on any other components like Querying the data, sending data to data streams, AEP CDP etc. or any performance concerns?

Hello, I have a few questions regarding accessing data through the Profile API, data retention, and data cleanup.1. I have recently ingested data into AEP using the streaming API and I am currently accessing it through the Real-Time Profile API. I understand that the data is stored in the profile store for 7 days, but I am unsure if the Profile API will still provide a response after this period. Could you please clarify this for me?2. Additionally, I am curious about the length of time data remains in the data-lake before Adobe archives it. Should I be concerned about backing up the data I have ingested into AEP, or does it remain there indefinitely?
