Adobe Experience Manager Headless

Does AEM allow replacement of an asset (image or pdf) whilst retaining metadata, title etc?I have read that this should be possible via a 'replace' button when the asset is selected but I don't see this option.

How can i redirect the request in dispatcher with query parameters from one page to another page without losing query parameters, for example, redirect should take place from https://www.mysite.com/content/us/en/firstpage.htm?a=xyz to  https://www.mysite.com/content/us/en/secondpage.htm?a=xyz   Appreciated any inputs and pointers.

Hello!We are struggling with a GraphQL query on our AEMaaCS publish instance. For showing certain news on our Android and iOS mobile apps, we'd like to query a list of article content fragments... of a specific path after specific date sorted by date having a particular cq:tags tag set returning the _publishURL of the page that references the content fragment Current state: Date works. Path works. Sorting by date will be supported with the March 2023 release. Checking for tags did work in AEM 6.5 but now it seems it does not work anymore? Do we miss something? The _references attribute only returns "RTE inline references" and not the page(s) that reference the content fragment. Is there a way to accomplish that? I need to get the events while the property 'jcr:lastModified' is either added or modified. Also I only need to watch certain paths. I tried to add properties like this. I also checked the event console http://localhost:4502/system/console/events where I couldn't find my class. The debugger is also not reaching to the handleEvent method. Hello Team,I checked out AEM Cloud Repo on my local and  trying to deploy back to Cloud.  While deploying, it passes "BUILD AND CODE SCANNING" section. But it always fails at the "NON-PRODUCTION DEPLOYMENT" section, it stays on the status "Artifact is awaiting Deployment" for some time and then fails with the status "Error". I am new to AEM Cloud and the deployment process and haven't done it before. I have implemented WKND AEM SPA using Next.js + GraphQL.My NextJS application is working on localhost:3000 successfully and no error on fetching _devPagesManifest.json but when opening it on AEM localhost:4502, I am getting an issue "Error: Failed to fetch _devPagesManifest.json".When checked- (working) on frontend application, the URL is- localhost:3000/_next/static/development/_devPagesManifest.json (not working) on AEM author, the URL is giving 404- http://localhost:4502/_next/static/development/_devPagesManifest.json   I believe on AEM too, it should be requested from 3000 port instead of 4502. Where can this be defined- any configs or settings?Any help will be appreciated!

Hey community!   I´m currently playing around with the GraphQL functionality based on content fragment models and persistent queries. I understand the external use cases to consume this data in an AEM frontend or any other system / third party application.    I have a scenario where I want to use the existing content fragment data in the AEM backend and provide it to e.g. a component model via an OSGi service. The most obvious option was to create a service and make REST calls against the GraphQL endpoint of the current instance and use the persistent queries function. That looks quite nice (and works in a development environment), but in the end I have to deal with the following circumstances:   1. On which environment is my code running? Which is the domain I need to query? 2. If I want to query the author instances, I need to authenticate my request, because the OSGi service does not know anything about a users request or any other authenticated resource.  

Hello, I was testing GraphQL Fragments https://graphql.org/learn/queries/#fragments in the Headless Demo on Cloud and noticed that they don't allow for any data to be returned. The _path returns, but ONLY if it is also listed under "item" as well. All the other fields return null. It doesn't seem that GraphQL fragments work. Hello, I'm currently working on a requirement for which translation of content fragments is required. The setup is pretty straight forward and translating the content fragments with Microsoft Machine Translation works basically. However, for some custom multi-fields with complex structure, the translation is not working due to the fact that the field values are stored as an array of JSON data. Translation is applied to the whole content of the JSON, also the keys and quotes are translated. Hi,  We are trying to enable caching of the persisted query on the dispatcher by following the instructions on https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-cloud-service/content/headless/deployment/dispatcher-caching.html?lang=en. However, even though the dispatcher is on the latest version, the global variable is not recognized when set. Can you please let me know if there is a specific section of the dispatcher where these variables need to be set? The document also says "the Dispatcher adds the suffix .json to all persisted query URLs, so that the result can be cached.", this means the request to the publisher is with .json and should resolve the query, but unfortunately, that does not seem to do the trick. It just cannot resolve when the request is with the suffix .json on the publisher.  Additionally, I would like to know how to invalidate the response cache of a persistent query.
