Custom Plugin Support for richtext Component in Universal Editor for Edge Delivery Services

Hi everyone,

In the Universal Editor, we use a JSON-based component definition where "component": "richtext" is utilized to handle rich text content.

In AEM Sites, we have the ability to customize the Rich Text Editor (RTE) by adding custom plugins or configurations to meet specific requirements—such as adding proper spacing between text blocks or applying specific formatting rules.

My question is:

Does Edge Delivery Services (EDS) support any method to customize the richtext component in a similar way?
Specifically, I'm looking to implement custom spacing behavior in authored rich text content.

Is there an API, plugin mechanism, or any configuration option to extend or modify the behavior of the richtextcomponent within EDS?

Any documentation reference or practical example would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!
