Hi , I am working on XML Documentation and able to create DITA content successfully using XML Documentation add-on.I am able to generate DITA content on AEM sites but it is giving me static template.I want to know how to use/ display DITA content on editable template?. I followed this discussion also but now working. I already gone through this video tutorial but they have only mentioned about XML editor. Can anyone please share any blog or tutorial that giving clear understanding on DITA implementation.

I'm getting an Unable to Validate XML error from the XML Editor, but I can't figure out what the problem is. I'm moving content from out of a table cell and as far as I can tell from the source view, I have not violated DITA.  Specifically, the error is happening when I'm moving a <ul> out of a table cell. I'm getting the error whether the <ul> is placed within a <p> or if it is placed outside a <p> element. Has anyone else seen issues when moving content out of a table? 

While switching to AEM spell check in XML editor, Authors should be able to select or right-click a word and choose 'Add to Dictionary'. Authors need an interface from XML Editor to be able to add words to the dictionaryfor example shown in below screen shot

I have few DITA topics referenced in DITA Map but the topics list not appearing in Topics Panel in DITA Map Dashboard. What can be the possible issue ?  

While using the XML editor I am getting  an additional space displayed at the end of hyperlink text. In source mode the additional space is not present wherein the publish mode the additional space is getting addedfor example:Testing link at end of a sentence test text spaces . Testing link at end of a sentence nospace .   What can be done to resolve these kind of issues.

Is anyone else having performance issues with the web-based XML Editor? After several hours of work, the editor is now timing out and is reacting too slow to use. Is there a setting somewhere in Edge that I'm missing?

Hey everyone,   I was wondering if it is possible to display an image from an XML variable into a component of an adaptive form. We have an XML variable represented as a containerImage and I would like to display it into a image component provided by Adobe:   <containerImage xfa:contentType="image/JPG" href=""> /9j/4AAQSkZJRgABAQEAYABgAAD/4REKRXhpZgAATU0AKgAAAAgABAE7AAIAAAAVAAAISodpAAQAAAABAAAIYJydAAEAAAAqAAAQ2OocAAcAAAgMAAAAPgAAAAAc6gAAAAgAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA </containerImage>   (There is more letters and numbers included but it is very long)   I tried binding the XML into the image choice but it did not work:     Is there any way I can show that Image into an adaptive form?    

The first three steps of my content are an ordered list that I conref into the topic. I need to have the ordered list continue numbering after the first three steps and not start over at 1. How can I do this?

I am trying to get our page numbering set up to look like the following in AEM Guides ( (version 2022.5.144):   1-1, 2-1, 3-1, where the first number is the chapter number and the number after the hyphen is the page number of the chapter. I also need the page number to restart from "1" with each chapter. How do I do this?   This is what my footer currently looks like. The page number is the top number. I am using the "Insert Field" function to insert the "Page Number" system variable.  

Hello -- When I create a PDF from AEM Guides (version 2022.5.144), all text appears bold. I have made sure that the font-weight is set to "normal" in the page layouts I'm using for this PDF output. Is there a setting I'm overlooking somewhere? Example below. The only text that should be bold is "Safety".

Within the XML Editor, why can’t I drag/drop by element? (Paragraph, table, etc). We need to be able to edit content by moving around element tags, such as selecting the opening paragraph tag and dragging it to a new location within the topic. Right now, you can’t really select by clicking on the element tag, which makes moving content a lot harder than it needs to be.

To use a Key Reference link in a topic, you have to manually enter in the keys="" into the map like this: <topicref href="GUID-ae29861e-c03c-41b5-a290-71060f0528cd.dita" keys="TestingNotes" type="concept"></topicref> If you edit the map using the cross-reference menu icon, the keys are defined with a keydef, like this: <topicref href="GUID-2dfc8826-1b96-4fc7-9e0c-3b112a1a760a.dita" type="concept"><keydef keys="TestingNested"></keydef></topicref> Only the first option results in the key appearing in the Key Reference selection drop-down when inserting a xref link into a topic. Why? Why does XML Editor not insert the keys definition into the map correctly so that it'll work? What is the purpose of this menu option relative to the maps?

I am looking for a way to automate commonly performed tasks in AEM. This involves tasks such as copying files from one folder to another. Is there any way to run these (example copying files/folders) from command prompt. Any help would be appreciated.

The DITAMAP loads the topic references in the DITAMAP dashboard very slowly, sometimes it hangs when there are a lot of topic references.We have segregated by creating smaller DITAMAP's and referencing those into the parent DITAMAP, but still, some of the content has a lot of articles where it fails to load the topic references and hangs frequently.Is there any recommendation on how many topic references can a ditamap have? Also, is there any recommended limitation to generating a website with such huge content or creating pages at individual ditamap's is a better suggestion? Appreciate your help in advance! Thanks,Sudheer

Documentation indicates that the relationship tables works with the topics/concepts/tasks, I am trying to check, if there is any option that we can use the relationship tables with the regular assests like pdf/word assets in the DAM along with other topics.  My scenario is as below:Topic 1 is having a relationship with Topic 4 and Topic5 and as well as can be linked to a DAM asset like PDF documents, once the AEM webiste is created, expecting the relationship nodes to be created for both Topic 4, 5 and assets linked in the relationship table. Is this possible? Appreciate your help in advance! 

AEM Instance:AEM 6.5 + SP7 + SP8 + XML Add On v3.8Query:We have a requirement to get the additional attributes (format, topic, chunk) added to the auto generated ditamap (from an uploaded index.html). While I was able to get these to reflect by making changes directly to /etc/fmdita/html2dita/toc2map.xsl. What would be the right approach to override this file? I tried an override at  /apps/fmdita/config/html2dita/toc2map_extended.xsl but that didn't quite work.
