Requirement to assign a workflow approval to two groups [1] and [2], if member of group [1] approves first then workflow should not wait for group[2] approvalvice versa if member of group[2] approves first workflow should not wait for group[1] approval.The main concern here is both the groups [1] and [2] users AEM inbox page should be seen.We have tried below options.Tried and "or split" and "and split" but both are not satisfying actual requirement.Tried time out and advance setting on one of the participant step to auto approve if once groups approves first.Tried groups [1] and [2] added to group[3] and group[3] mapped to participant step.Please provide if we can achieve using any customization. technically two groups should assign to participant step in the workflow.

Hi all, What I would like to achieve is the following. Based on the specified dimension and an asset title I would like to find all the asset renditions which correspond to the search criteria. Currently I am using the QueryBuilder API as I am not working in Java but it seems impossible that in just one call to the AEM I manage to get the wanted rendition. What would be the best way for search the image renditions?Looking forward to your ideas!

Hi Team, This use case is for cleaning of the assets from the author which are unreferenced and we want to have the same use case for workflow deactivation of the page  Below is the use case:Step 1: Create page A and use image component with image A authored and publish the page A.(NOTE : Image A is newly uploaded asset and is referenced only in page A. Also it is published.)Step 2: go to damadmin and open image A - if we see under the references tab - it will list only one reference i.e. page AStep 3: Now update the image component with image B in page A and do not publish the page A.Step 4: In Author - Page A has image B referenced and in Publish - Page A has image A referenced. Assuming we want to clean up unreferenced assets then Image A is orphan as it is not having any references. We have a requirement to relate 2 or more assets using bulk import process wherein related assets information will be available in cvs/xlsx.Not sure if AEM provides any such OOB functionality, any thoughts/suggestions to achieve the ask are much appreciated. Thanks

Hi All,We have a path in AEM - lets say /content/dam/folderA , whenever there is a tiff uploaded we need to assign tag - tag1 to tiffs and whenever there is a jpg uploaded we want to apply tag tag2 to it.How can we accomplish this with metadata schemas and profiles?I could create a metadata profile and assign a tag to everything getting uploaded into a folder, but could not figure out how would I selectively do it for one mimetype or extension. I understand we could do it with a simple workflow and  a launcher at that folder, but looking if this could be done with metadata schema and profiles alone.

In our project we are using Adobe OOTB workflow steps in our custom workflows, the workflow email are utilizing the template located at /etc/workflow/notification/email/default/en.txt . Hi all,i've integrated Dynamic Media Hybrid Mode with my AEM 6.3.3.0 environment. All is working fine but i have a question.When i open the image url without any query parameter, preset, etc (https://dmserver/is/image/image.jpg) i'm getting a small image (300x200 px). Is there a way to get the original image? (size, type, etc, without any modification)And when i use the responsive feature with the OOTB responsive image preset, the page is doing two request https://dmserver/is/image/image.jpg?$responsive$​ which returns the small image, then is executed the s7responsiveImage js function and a new request is executed with the correct wid parameter https://dmserver/is/image/image.jpg?$responsive$&wid=XXX​X. is that the normal behavior? two request per imageThanks in advance

Hi teamWe are having AEM 6.5.5. Issue is when we are trying to do bulk movement of asset it fails and give 500 internal server error in console. please advise , what could be the issue? Thanks  

When I open the replication tab for any path in CRX, it shows 500 internal server error. I have logged in as admin user and my AEM version is 6.5.6. Please advice.

I have no idea what happened, but my thumbnails are not appearing correctly. They are over lapping each other and I have no white space in-between them. Has this happened to anyone else? I am on version 6.2.  

Hello, I am contributor / Author to AEM6.5 (Im not superuser). I have 2000+ documents/ resources on 150+ web pages. These documents are scattered in DAM in different folders. I want  to tag these documents with 9 country tags. (Japan/ Thailand/ South Korea) etc. Is there any tool / or any way to bulk update / Automate the process ?If not, I will need to tag each document manually. Main reason of automation is, we have 2000+ product pages for each country and we work in 167 countries. Hence manually working on it is impossible.  

Hello Team, We have a requirement where we there are few product detail pages which needs to secured for some sensitive authoring which shouldn't be know to many till go-live. Step wise details below: Suppose standard we -retail MSM structure is followed and we have a product detail page like /content/xyz/language-masters/en/products/product1 . There also exists a published livecopy of the same as /content/xyz/us/en/product1.htmlNow there is some sensitive content to be added on the page which only 1 or 2 page in the organization are authorized of. Also the regular content authoring on language-master, translation , rollout should continue to happen as is.Now 1 way can be to utilize the AEM launch feature but then translation cant be achieved and also issues with maintaining permissions. Is there any high level solution to this requirement ? Currently we are thinking of having a separate folder structure for secure pages but the next blocker is with how to merge this bac

hello, i am using aem 6.5so we have few configurations which are provided by aem like referrer filter or user mapper or html library manager etc.my requirement is to update configuration from my code so that developer dont need system/console access to do changes in author or publish instance. is it possible to do so?also if anyone can help me with how to write custom configuration code which aem will refer as per runmodes it would be great.

As part of business requirement , we need two modes square(360*360) and landscape(400*192) of same image (actual image dimension is 1000*1000) . We created image presets(wid & hei parameters added) & found that we will get white background appended on the border of image if actual image is landscape & we are trying to retrieve square image & vice versa .So to remove white background,  we applied format alpha-png which helped us in removing transparent background but created another problem of reduced image size.In order to prevent small size image & white background, we appended scl=1 in image url  which cropped the image to desired size & also removed the original content of image.Is there any solution using which we can get image required size of image without any above mentioned problems.

We want to check there is already image present in DAM which is similar / Identical to the new image which is being uploaded. We want this activity to happen while uploading of new Assets in DAM.

Ability to synchronise at component level - At the moment you can only synchronise the full page, but we have a lot of use cases, where this is exactly what we want to avoid. We can already rollout at component level, so I was wondering if we could also synchronise at component level, too. This would be very helpful to our authoring team.2. View dialogue box without breaking inheritance - Currently, everytime you need to check for some content (eg. accessibilty or data tracking attributes) in the Live Copies, you need to break inheritance, open the dialogue box and revert inheritance again. We are currently using Capture One to output camera images directly to an internal network file server.  The business will then use Desktop App to move the images from the server to AEM folders.  We want to remove the file server and output directly to AEM.   However, we do not see a way in the Capture One tool to configure (although it does use the Finder's and mounted network drive) and believe the Desktop App uses a different technology to connect).  BTW:  We have opened a case with Capture One, but curious if anyone has a similar requirement or need within their AEM Assets implementation.  Or if Lightroom as a solution, we could make a case for switching from Capture One. 

Hi, I need to generate video renditions by providing height and width as an argument . Is there any way to do so?I tried FFMPEG transcoding step , it is generating rendition but not of my desired height and width. Also I need those renditions in same format with which originally the file was uploaded. Thanks,Rohit

I have requirement to get all the assets and its properties in .json format at certain level by URl as /content/dam/abc/a.1.jsonI am able to get data using httpclient library by get call ,Is there any other way to fetch the data in json format as I don't want to pass username and password in get call

I am using AEM 6.5, and I have the setup of author and publish as local instances. I have a custom group which is inheriting permissions from OOTB Content-Author group. Additionally i have added Read/C/M/D/Replicate permission to /content/experience-fragments (and all the child nodes). My user is a part of this custom-group and when the user is trying to publish an experience-fragment, it works fine. But, when the user tries to do Publish-Later, it fails with the below message: I am getting this error:*ERROR* [0:0:0:0:0:0:0:1 [1599136364749] POST /etc/workflow/instances HTTP/1.1] org.apache.sling.servlets.post.impl.operations.ModifyOperation Exception during response processing.java.lang.IllegalStateException: This tree does not exist 

Hi All, Can someone please help me with creating gif image renditions in AEM6.5? I tried creating renditions using custom code but all it creates is static images, animation effect is no longer present. Hi AEM Gurus, Is it possible to use jcr sql2 query to find pages that contain the same id value (supposed to be unique but got duplicated some how) in one of the custom page property? I have tried with this sql2 query but it fails since we can't compare a dynamic operand against a dynamic operand. Since sql2 doesn't have group by, having clauses, my choices seem to be limited. I also tried playing around with not issamenode but no luck so far. select n1.[jcr:path], n2.[jcr:path] from [cq:PageContent] as n1 INNER JOIN [cq:PageContent] as n2ON n1.[custom_id] = n2.[custom_id]where ISDESCENDANTNODE(n1, "/content") and ISDESCENDANTNODE(n2, "/content")and n1.[jcr:path] <> n2.[jcr:path] So basically custom_id page property should have been unique across repository but with users copy/pasting pages, same custom_id value can be on multiple pages and we need to find these pages. Thanks in advance,SKM
