Asset Metadata import failing due to missing namespace in the metadata fields

Hello Team,

 

I want to use the  OOTB metadata import functionality through CSV for updating the assets in bulk.

I have a custom meta fields property without namespace, Eg: Custom text field has a property name as "projectId" without a namespace. I have couple more fields without namespace. Due to the missing namespace, I am unable to update the assets with metadata import functionality as it is giving an error. 

Is there a way to skip this namespace check for fields while using metadata import functionality?

 

Please suggest.

    @mkumar  AEM Assets does not allow for adhoc adding of new metadata properties. You can add your new namespace for custom metadata properties as explained here: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-64/assets/administer/meta-edit.html?lang=en#registering-a-custom-namespace-within-aem
