While creating the content fragment, I have added tags. That is saved here. From GraphQl API, I can expose the content as shown below _metadata {      stringArrayMetadata {           name           value     }}   Similary, I have added tags to asset. That is present here: /content/dam/test.png/jcr:content/metadatacq:tagsvalue: test:abc How to expose this tags from GraphQL API from an asset?I know about this one to get asset metatagshttp://localhost:4502/content/dam/test.png/jcr:content/metadata.json But, from GraphQL only, I need to pass the tags, metatags details. I am trying to generate and deploy an apk file for the Geometrixx Outdoors demo app in AEM 6.1, for which I followed the documentation step by step.After installing the apk on my android phone, it is stuck on the Splash screen and I am not able to navigate further.Has anyone tried installing the apk file on an android phone? Hi Experts,I am using v1/carousel core component as extending resourceSuperType in my .xml. I want to show hide the entire dialog of the component using show/hide dropdown functionality, as if i select core i need to show all the core dialog and if i select 'custom', i need to show custom dialog. I am having dialog config in cq_dialog and show hide using granite:class but the issue is the core dialog tabs are showing on top of my dropdown selection and if i select my drop down it displays the dialog again below. How to achieve the show/hide properly.

I'm migrating Oak:index from AMS AEM 6.5.21 to AEM as a Cloud Service using the latest Index Converter utility (v1.2.5) and have observed that the utility merges some custom indexes with existing OOTB index definitions. For example, my custom index "abc" is being merged into the customization of "cqPageLucene-1" instead of creating a standalone custom index. Q1. What criteria the utility uses to decide merging vs. standalone creation ? Q2. Since these indexes serve different stakeholders with distinct requirements, would it be better to create them as fully custom indexes (e.g., customIndexName-custom-1) instead of following the utility's merge recommendation with existing OOTB index definitions (is that supported ?)   Please share best practices for overriding Index Converter utility decisions, Experiences with similar migration scenarios.

Hi community, I'm new to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and I'm particularly interested in learning about headless adaptive forms especially developing with JSON Schema instead of GraphQL.I don't yet have any AEM license, as I'd like to first understand and explore the platform before committing to a subscription.I've read that it's possible to set up AEM locally and also the AEM as a Cloud Service SDK, for development and learning purposes. However, I haven't been able to find clear instructions or a direct download link - most resources redirect me to the enterprise page, which says my Adobe ID isn't linked to a subscription.So, my questions are:How can a new developer (without an enterprise account) start learning and building on AEM?Is there any free developer sandbox or trial setup available for learning?What's the recommended learning path to get started with hands-on development, evaluate features, and build skills before subscribing?Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi Team,One of our clients wants to migrate their current on-prem website to AEM EDS and is currently using SAP Commerce integrated with their website.We want to use the EDS solution for product data from SAP and cannot use client-side calls for product data due to SEO reasons. Since importing product data into AEM Cloud (under /var/commerce/product) is not an option, then what are the possible workarounds for this use case?Thanks~S

Hi, how can I create a rules based field in content fragment model. For example, there is a enum field called fuel type; if the fuel type is electric, then a new field, battery power, should pop up or should be populated. If the fuel type is any other, the battery power field couldn’t be populated or shown. How can I do this? Thank you.

I have a content fragment with a text box that has the “unique” option enabled. When the fragment loads, it triggers the unique field validation call (/mnt/overlay/dam/cfm/admin/components/authoring/validations/uniquefield.json), but it doesn’t return any response.In the Query Performance tool, I can see the following error:“The query read or traversed more than 100000 nodes. Hi everyone, We are currently implementing an Adobe Commerce on Edge Delivery Services (EDS) storefront connected to AEM Sites as a Cloud Service. In our current setup, the file https://example.com/configs.json is publicly accessible from the browser. This file contains environment-related configurations and API endpoints required for the Drop-ins initialization. While this approach works functionally, it raises a security concern for production environments since the file is exposed and potentially reveals sensitive configuration details. I would like to know what Adobe recommends as the best practice for handling environment configs and secrets in EDS storefronts. Specifically: Should these values be managed through a secure service, such as Adobe App Builder runtime variables? Is there a supported mechanism to inject configuration dynamically without exposing it client-side? Would Adobe recommend using a CDN layer (Fastly/Cloudflare) or a

I have an OSGi service that uses the WorkflowService API to programmatically trigger the "Update Asset" workflow that's forever been found at:/var/workflow/models/dam/update_assetIt's missing in AEM Assets as a Cloud Service and I can't find clear documentation on triggering its equivalent. Does anyone here have advice on what needs to be done to trigger this or its equivalent from inside an OSGi service in Assets as a Cloud Service? Note: The workflow model still exists in the Quickstart Jar from Software Distribution, so everything works fine for me locally. For context: The reason why we're triggering the workflow is because we have custom OSGi code that pulls proprietary data from other systems and creates and updates both image Assets and Content Fragments. Updated images will create new Revisions of Assets through the AssetsManager API. The Update Asset workflow doesn't seem to fire the way it would if you manually made these same changes, so we're triggering the Update

Hi,We have a requirement, where we upload a image on the publisher, and the same should reflect in author also.When raised a Adobe support ticket for the same, this is the reply we got."I would like to inform you that unfortunately reverse replication (from Publish to Author) is not supported out‑of‑the‑box in AEM as a Cloud Service. -This is a fundamental architectural change: unlike on‑premise and Managed Services deployments, AEM Cloud Service does not support the traditional reverse replication agents. The cloud model expects content to be authored at the Author instance and then pushed (forward replication) to the Publishers.Although Sling Content Distribution (SCD) is available for content transfer, the Sync Distribution configuration meant to mimic reverse replication is not feasible in AEM as a Cloud Service. -Because the traditional reverse replication mechanism is absent."Is there any workaround to achieve this functionality?

Hi Team, Does anyone know the steps involved to make AEM Assets defined taxonomy (hierarchical tags) available in Content Hub? (as filters, upload metadata, and search)Although some tags related choices show in the selector, these are not our custom defined ones. The configuration panel is very well made and easy to understand. But it is somewhat surprising that this essential part is not directly available.Thanks for your insights.

We're running AEM 6.5.19. We would prefer not to use workflow approval inbox/email chains and instead rely solely on content permissions. However, some of our editors are seemingly subject to certain approval workflows when they attempt to replicate, edit, move, or delete content. For example, I might have full permissions on a node (except for edit acl), yet if I attempt to replicate this page, an approval workflow winds up in the admin user's inbox. We've been deleting these workflows but are worried user's requests wind up in a workflow black hole of sorts. The user may be expecting someone to act on the request.We would prefer for a user who does not have the correct permission on a node to be unable to take the action. We do not want to trigger a workflow that winds up in the admin user's inbox. We would prefer that the action just not be possible for a user without the corresponding permission. In a different case, some of our users seem not to
