Hi, I'm trying to download asset report in csv file from ACS AEM Commons using query builder but I'm getting an empty excel with no assets. Below I mentioned my query-type=dam:Assetpath=/content/dam/cognizant-dot-comgroup.1_daterange.property=jcr:content/jcr:lastModifiedgroup.1_daterange.lowerBound=2025-03-01group.1_daterange.upperBound=2025-03-15p.limit=1000p.guessTotal=truep.indexTag=assetsOmnisearch 

Hello Team, Long back, I have installed AEM author instance in my local. Did local setup of AEM project. I was not installing many asset packages or content packages. It was limited. After few months, Author instance size was around 95GB. Then, I have deleted entire crx-quickstart folder. Re-installed the necessary packages. Size was around 4GB. Able to run my application.Now, after a month, size is 25GB. Is there any way to delete the unwatned folders, files without deleteing the entire crx-quickstart folder?Note: logs, threaddumps folder size is not more than 100MB. cc @arunpatidar  @lukasz-m Thanks 

We have mongo cluster of 2 author instances and the sling jobs distribution is random. Adobe says, in author cluster by default sling jobs will be distributed to all nodes in the cluster. But in our case sling jobs are randomly distributing i.e. sometimes jobA is getting distributed two author instances and sometimes same jobA with different payload map is executing in only author1 instance but not in author2. Any suggestions for this random behaviour? Thanks,Ramesh.  

We are working on adaptive forms based on form core components (Service pack: 6.5.21, Form version: 1.1.64). The custom functions works well if there is no "globals" param.Any ideas on this?

I need to be able to deny metadata edit permissions for 2 groups on the 2 metadata fields that control publication of assets to Content Hub. The metadata fields in question are: Metadata Type -> Field Label -> Map to Property -> Choicesdropdown -> Content Hub Status -> ./jcr:content/metadata/dam:status -> approved, rejected, changesRequesteddropdown -> Approval Target -> ./jcr:content/metadata/dam:activationTarget -> contenthub, deliveryI need to configure permissions such that only users in these 2 groups can edit these 2 fields while ensuring that all other metadata fields can be edited by all "contributors" of the Author Instance:WKND AEM AdminsWKND AEM LibrariansBy restricting edit access to these 2 metadata fields we ensure that only the limited number of users in the librarian and admin groups are able to publish assets to Content Hub.What is the best way to implement this type of restriction using out of the box capabilities?

Hi, we just upgraded to 6.5.21 and we see that when we try to delete any page from the sites, we get the dreaded Red "error" popup. error logs throw the following error org.apache.sling.engine.impl.SlingRequestProcessorImpl service: Uncaught Throwable org.apache.jackrabbit.oak.query.RuntimeNodeTraversalException: The query read or traversed more than 100000 nodes. To avoid affecting other tasks, processing was stopped.any help?when i compare /oak:index with the old non-upgraded instance i see that there are 4 new indexes being added AssetPrefixNodeName, CqAuditEvent, GraphQlConfig, fragments. when i try to package the /oak:index in the 6.5.21 instance i get the following error "Unable to retrieve primary type for Node /oak:index/cq:AuditEvent" any help?

Trying to find out the limitations of Assets as a Cloud service (specific to cloud service and not 6.5 on premises or AMS environments) that we should abide by?1) Limitation on the Storage of native files within AEM Assets?2) Limitation on the size of files stored in AEM Assets under a folder?3) Limitation around the number of file/folders under a hierarchy?4) Any general limitation that we should abide by when dealing with DAM? If there is a benchmarking done by Adobe, it would be great to get a handle to that link?

inexplicably the cache is being periodically deleted, the scheduled tasks have already been reviewed, and the task for this purpose does not exist. What can be the cause ??? 

I am trying to use a webp image in page properties under featured image section in AEM cloud instance. But not able to see the image preview in the page properties. All the image rendetions are created, and even this image is visible in the page using Image component.  Also, in page properties i can see the call to this image 319*319 rendetion is success and its returning a png rendetion of this image, but still its not visible in the featured image section inside page properties.  @71132 

Hey all, We have a little conundrum wherein each environment has over 150 variables configured for OSGi values.We have a multi-tenant architecture wherein each tenant is prefixed in environment variables with _TENANTX_CM to easily identify the tenant.However, few environment variables are incorrect and have been fixed - Basically TenantX and TenantY have same environment variable name. This has been fixed in code now.However, the query is when we deploy this to AEM Cloud, supposedly there is a use case wherein the correct configuration is tagged to incorrect environment variable name - How can we handle that scenario? For example TenantX and TenantY both have same environment variable name with value "ABC"Now we are correcting the configs for both by having separate environment variables. But the default values still have to be overridden to point to "ABC" in cloud manager.Since there are lot of variables is there any way to ensure that the transition is seamless? I know

Is there any advantage to overlaying components than just extending them using sling:resourceSuperType? Overlay allows you to copy over libs components to apps and changing them without affecting the original component. Doesn't extending the component also allow the same - you can just overwrite the script where changes are required? In addition, extending can make it future-proof, that is, if you happen to upgrade AEM in the future, extending components will allow you to use the latest available components in /libs.Or is there anything that can only be achieved using overlay that I'm missing here?Thanks for any inputs here.

I am doing this by creating a dynamic feed from query-index.json using JS fetch. async function loadJSON(path) { if (path) { const resp = await fetch(path); if (resp.ok) { return await resp.json(); } } return null; }This happens in a block with the json path.1. For the URL: `/blogs/` I am fetching all blogs without filtering2. For Tagging, I am using static URLs: `/blogs/<tag>` and adding a filter through the block className by adding a (tag)I have a few questions:For Dynamic filtering, what should I use? Is there a best practice, instead of using static URLs? Are there any other best practices for blogs in EDS?

Hi, I have installed node module "@apollo/client" from npm install, i am trying to use that in scripts.js file, using import, but getting error in browser console "Uncaught TypeError: Failed to resolve module specifier "@apollo/client". Relative references must start with either "/", "./", or "../"" I am new to AEM edge delivery services, please let me know what am missing. Thanks,Parvathi 

Hi Team, Trying to forward aemaccess AEM logs from AEM Splunk to our own Splunk with below config .config       LogForwarding-dev.yaml  kind: "LogForwarding"version: "1"metadata: envTypes: ["dev"]data: splunk: default: enabled: false host: "<splunk_host_name>" token: "${{SPLUNK_TOKEN}}" index: "<splunk_index>" sourcetype: "aemaccess" Logs from all source types are syncing to splunk instead of just aemaccess logs. Kindly suggest if there is more specific configuration to only pick logs from specific log source.

What is the best way to tap into and run a bit of Java code whenever a publish occurs in AEMaaCS? I have an API servlet that is fetching and returning some structured content from AEM. This servlet uses Caffeine to cache some computations in memory for an hour so that results don't get recomputed on every request. When a publish occurs in AEM, I want to run a function to clear this cache. I tried the following but it doesn't appear to get triggered (at least locally). Hi,In my project adobe experience manager as cloud service,I have an embedded component in which is possible to configure spotify's iFrames. My team and I are trying to track the play,pause,and milestones events of the iframe trough the Web Playback Spotify Sdk but we are not sure it could work. Can we use Adobe Translation Project to translate the PDFs that are created out of AEM Forms? We use Assembler service to generate PDFs from XDP. Either translation the PDF or XDP should work. Can this be done using the Adobe Translation service.

Hi everyone,I started working on a few extensions/plugins for the new CF Editor, such as showing/hiding fields based on a selection, custom color picker field, custom autocomplete field, etc. Following the docs provided here https://developer.adobe.com/uix/docs/services/aem-cf-editor/code-generation/ is going mostly ok so far, however I do have a few questions I would like to clarify with the community:I assume each plugin should have its own separate Git repo and project in Adobe IO based on the App Builder template. Can anyone confirm this assumption?If I do separate my plugins, I don't want them to load on CF models where they are not used. Is there a way to limit the plugin to only load on specific CF models or should I raise a feature request?I don't know why Adobe is writing React code in JS files in the project templates. Visual Studio obviously complains about this as it should be in JSX files. Does anyone know if it's safe to just rename the files in JSX?I will share my l
