Hello I am trying  to retrieve all recipents with same email but coming with a différent consent type? I am looking for a straight foward approach, to update them with the same value consent type, when the most recent consent date is updated?

Hi All Adobe Specialists,This is my first question on this portal. After checking 10+ questions answer without a proper answer, I thought it is best to ask the question here in hope someone who might have faced the same issue, might be able to help.What I am trying to achieve:I am looking to Encrypt PII values (e.g., AccountID, Name, Surname etc.) in Adobe Campaign Classic V7 so it can be added to the URL of a landing page/WebApp. This will be done on the App Server where all the Email deliveries are generated. Then I want to be able to read/decrypt this encrypted PII value (e.g. Account Number, Name) in the WebApp. Once I have decrypted value, it will allow to search for customer’s record and make necessary amendments to the record. The reason I cannot use Primary key (id) is because there is one to many relationship between Recipient Schema and the other schema I am trying to query.The WebApp runs from Web Server. The Issue I am facing:I can encrypt the value within Email U

In order to match a Recipients column, I need to satisfay this conditions:1.- If customer_cic is length 8, then add 4 spaces at the begging. 2.- If customer cic is length 12, leave it as it is.I tried: Case(When(Length(customer_cic)==12,customer_cic, Else('    '+customer_cic)) But is giving me error. 

Hi community   I am designing an email template that'll be triggered based on an event with some real-time event context carrying parameters. We want the template to be able to accept and show some dynamic content via these events such as bulleted lists of items, but as far as I can tell the event context is pretty flat in terms of delivering data, only allowing properties. The caller of the event will produce some quite dynamic content, so we find it hard to have to design a very large variety of templates to fit every need.   Our initial idea was to somehow, if possible, insert the data from the real-time event in the template but allow it to be rendered directly as HTML inside the template. Basically reserving an area of the template where the caller could "inject" some specifically styled content. That way, the caller of the event could send along some simple HTML structured data, no styling, just structure, and that would be rendered nicely in the resulting email.  

Hi everyone I am trying to truncate the contents of a custom table in the Adobe Campaign database. I created that table to hold a set of data that is imported on a daily basis from an external file,but I need to truncate it before loading the data set. I know I could use the Update activity to delete records, but that requires an input. I could build that input by querying all data in the target table first and pass it to the Update activity, then the Update activity would delete the records from the incoming population. However, it would be much more efficient to just truncate the full table. Can someone provide guidance on how to do it? CheersHugo

Hi, Is there a way to use additional data in Test activity in workflow. Like, for now I can just use event variables, attaching screenshot for reference. Please let me know if there is a way, thanks! 

My recipients codinternocomputacional has 04 white leading spaces for each value. My other source CSV's "customer_cic" , which is the key to make the match, has no leading white spaces. I cannot/should modify recipients. How can I add the 04 when doing the key matching?   

Hello,  I created a delivery using the wave function. The delivery has started, but I need to change 3 waves. Is there a way to do this without the process of stopping the delivery, removing previously sent records, and starting the delivery over again? 

I was just wondering if I have to extend the custom schema to add additional columns or can I simply modify the custom schema instead of extending it again. Thank you in advance.

I am confused in interpreting the below definition:An extension schema does not have its own schema: the schema generated from the source schema will be filled in with the fields of the extension schema. What I understand is the source schema will be filled in with the updated fields in extension schema. Is this correct?

Hi, I've an importer that loads a CSV in order to fill  a table (schema). We're currently using a test activity to test if there is full data on all columns, but how to do the same of only 1 or n columns?Our current test activity content: vars.recCount > 0 how to do test : if "emailcomercial" is empty or celularcomercial is empty end the workflow?

I have a Recipients tablet extension. It differs in the namespace with the default recipients table: abc:Recipients vs nms:Recipients.I've added columns: flag_correo and flag_sms to abc:Recipients, they are empty. abc:Recipients already has column "codigointernocomputacional" on this table with data.md_preferencias.csv: I've also a file with the values for each column (flag_correo and flag_sms). I need to join on the "codigointernocomputacional" column (on abc:Recipients) and update this column, with the "customer_cic" matches on "md_preferencias.csv". So the information in the file "md_preferencias.csv" should be joined on "customer_cic" and update the columns: flg_correo and flag_sms (on abc:Recipients).Both tables have  flag_correo and flag_sms columns. Hello, we are considering changing the @6761651 field  in the Recipient table since we noticed that today we are using this expression in the Recipients (nms) data schema XML-code: <attribute desc="Age in years" expr="YearsOld([@birthDate])" label="Age" name="age"notNull="false" type="long"/>Our @birthDate is not indexed as of today and this change in the schema would help our database performance since the current YearsOld([@birthDate]) expression is heavy to process and we use it in every wkf.Is there any downside with removing this expression and instead calculate it and populate the @6761651 attribute in a daily workflow?

Hi,We recently configured an SMPP external account in Adobe Campaign classic.At first the SMS setup was working. There were no issues. And suddenly, we started seeing.  SMPP connection with 'IP' deactivated.We contacted vendor about this to which they replied, 1. Please check the posts configured - (Configured as per given details)2. Please check if username and password is set properly (Details configured accurately).3. Please provide TCP dumps. (We shared)4. Please check if IPs whitelisted. IPs got whitelisted hence it was working before. After going back and forth with all these details, we approached Adobe Support team to capture TCP dumps by setting up verbose on live call. We are still unable to figure out what's the issue. Most of the time we are getting this error in campaign - SMPP message cancelled after connection has been closed.And in vendor side they are getting this error - ERROR: Bind for system "xxxxxx" pswd "xxxxxx" type "T

What are the possible reasons, a campaign can run before its scheduled run?

I have many deliveries in a Campaign, they all have the same label, since it is a recurring delivery. However, the differ in the DM part. Example: J_NEWUSERS (DM533015), J_NEWUSERS (DM537239)... and so on. Since I cannot filter by label because the have all the same label. How can I filter by DM in the explorer? In the AllDeliveries part.

Hi ,We have some users left the organization or inactive currently in Adobe campaign Standard. We need to disable or delete them from user group. On disabling the user, workflows created by the user failed and to restart the workflows we have to stop them unconditionally and restart. We have large number of workflows in our instance, so is there any better way than to manually check on every such workflow and restart. We also have noticed if any workflows are modified and restarted by disable user then also workflow failed ? So, what could be better solution to avoid such cases.Also what could be other impacts on disabling or deleting such users? Thank You!

I am looking to migrate email from the current ESP which is Exact Target over to Adobe Campaign. What are some of the things I need to watch out for? Is there an 'easy' way to do the migration such as bulk upload of html files and templates? 

What is the best practice and number of environments for the ACS service? Does the development need to be deployed so workflow testing can be done in that environment? What is the standard flow to develop, test, and migrate the programs and workflow between environments?
