In every image request the time value is being passed in (t=). This should eliminate the need for the Time Parting plug-in. There should be a way to take this variable and parse it out a bit and get the same information that the plug-in provided.

When I create a new panel in a workspace project, I typically want the same date range but it always defaults to the current month.  I know I can go back up and change the date, but it would be easiest to have an option to keep the same date range. For example, when you set your date range on the first panel, have checkbox that would 'Apply date range to all new panels'  Then all panels can have the same dates and I don't have to remember to go back and check.  If I need different date ranges, I don't have to check that box.

In the initial Workspace panel, it would be helpful to have a system more reminiscent of the reports area. This way users can configure and group different Workspace projects into helpful categories instead of creating an incessant and never ending list of potential tags.

I'm  a fairly new Discover user, but the first thing I've noticed is delays of 5 and 30 seconds when I make changes, such as adding/removing pages from fall-out reports.The system should provide some visual feedback while it is recalculating, and, most importantly provide a "Done" indicator so we know the numbers on-screen are accurate.

Issue:I'm looking at report A for suite B in timeframe C filtered by D.I need to switch to report W, suite X, timeframe Y and filter Z.I will wait for four redraws when only one is necessary.Proposal:Add a "Pause" button to the UI that greys the report screen and waits for me switch to all my settings. Do nothing (as in do not redraw) until I hit "Resume" -- then fetch the requested report.It seems simple, but think of the workflow time it would save not to mention the wasted processing time to draw intermediary reports no one wants to see.

Existing Functionality: Custom events can represent a very large number of actions, from the general to the specific. Without training or documentation, there's no easy way within the interface for Omniture SiteCatalyst users to know what a specific custom event represents.Idea: Provide administrators the ability to add annotations for custom events, which would be displayed within the metrics header of report details via the '?' annotation icon. See the attached image for how its already done for some standard events such as Click-throughs.  The annotations could also be referenced on the custom event within the Metric Selector window. An additional option would be for users to check a box when exporting a report for a glossary of event/metric definitions to be appended to the report.

Existing Functionality: Currently, when users need to update metrics, filters, or dates on a bookmarked report, they have to recreate and reschedule the report. When managing a significant number of bookmarks and scheduled reports, changes can be very time consuming if updates are required.Idea: Similar to the Edit/View Report functionality on Dashboards, users could Edit a bookmark.  Users could make changes to all criteria of an existing bookmarked report without having to recreate and reschedule the report. Once the changes have been made to the report, the user can click an 'Update' button that would exist at the top of the bookmarked report.  For example, very similar to Dashboards, the comment may read "Do you want to update the 'XYZ Report' bookmark in the 'Example Reports' folder?

For some metrics there is a small question mark that appears next to them that gives a description of that metric. This should be an option when creating a Calculated Metric. We should be able to give a description to exactly what the new metric is. When generating a new s_code file, there should be options to add in some custom elements. I should be able to just click a check box and have the Media Module added to the code. This could be expanded to to include some of the 'Omniture approved' plug-ins. For example I could click a button saying I want the Time Parting plug-in, and then which props/eVars I want to use with it. Then when the s_code file is generated the plug-in is added and those variables are now enabled and named properly.

It would be great to have a compact stylesheet for Analysis workspace. The current layout has a lot of empty space which can be great at times, however, having a compact view will be very beneficial for: Layout configuration - saving space Less scrolling with more data on screen In the old reports you were able to have maybe 3 tables within single screen vertically, wiht the new layout in AW you can hardly fit 1. Image below illustrates that even just removing the padding makes the table much more compact and shrinks it by 25% I am sure it can be done further.

It would be awesome if workspace had the ability to add a column to the right if these two and then be able to write custom formulas referencing the data. Essentially removing the need to export the data out. The "create metric from this selection" feature is nice, but sometimes it doesn't work with stacked filters and dates.

When a s_code file is generated from the admin console, the s.linkDownloadFileTypes variable is populated as:s.linkDownloadFileTypes="exe,zip,wav,mp3,mov,mpg,avi,wmv,doc,pdf,xls"yet when Client Care generates the file, that line is:s.linkDownloadFileTypes="exe,zip,wav,mp3,mov,mpg,avi,wmv,pdf,doc,docx,xls,xlsx,ppt,pptx" It should be the same no matter who generates the file. There should also be the Open Office file types included.

A much more refined version of the Google Browser Overlay should be added to the Click Map that uses the actual SiteCatalyst browser dimension data for that exact site.

When correlating an item with Referrer, Typed/Bookmarked is now not available. It should be.

When adding Notes to a report it is difficult for a user to see them since they are so low on the page. There should be a better way to let visitors know that a report contained Notes, as opposed to the various Note workarounds that are out there.

There is no way to look at a trended view of Direct Nav traffic. When you open the Traffic Sources > Referring Domains report, then trend the items Typed/Bookmarked has been removed from the report. It would be nice to see this in the UI without having to do something like pull it all using the Excel Client and chart it up myself.

When viewing a "Pages Not Found" report, we have the option to click the magnifying glass icon next to each line item to see the referrers for each of the pages not found. It would be great to export that report in some fashion so I could pass it along to my developers to fix. There is no way now to export that information.

The title is a bit misleading, but here's what I'm getting at: I'm using Virtual Report Suites to exclude many components that aren't relevant or may confuse my users. Unfortunately, it seems like once I have some components excluded, every new component has to specifically be added to the VRS, either through this popup:Or through the VRS flow. Once we have many users in this VRS, particularly users without a lot of AA experience, I can see this getting very confusing. It would help a lot if there were a setting that allowed me to exclude certain components but have the default for everything else, including new things, to be "included".

That would help proritize or qualify different market based on their size, the traffic/revenue they generate, etc.That would also help reducing the number of rows / records within the Data Warehouse while looking at global campaigns over a long period of time.Antoine.

It would be great if we had the ability to classify geosegmentation reports.  We have internal region definitions and it would be easier to classify countries rather than build complicated segments in Discover.

Please make it easier to add new users. For example, to get to the Add User Screen, you need to click User Managment in the global nav, click Existing Users, Click Add New Users. Why cant' Add New Users be on the User Management screen. Also, if there is a validation error, then all the Groups selected in the Select Lists are lost.

With the new segment release on 23rd April 2014, it's become impossible to add multiple countries to a segment at once. We're now forced to add each country as its own rule, and when you're trying to build segments for entire market areas at once, this gets old very quickly. We used to be able to set a "contains one of" rule, that would allow us to space separate a list of countries. Can we please go back to doing that?Or at least find some way that doesn't mean I have to do three clicks for each extra country I'm adding?  I'm trying to make segments with 50 to 70 countries in. So as to get a sense for how different areas of the world are behaving on our site, with this new UI that's an incredibly frustrating process.

When applying a segment to a cohort report the criteria applies to the entire report timeframe, not just the period in which the cohrot was created. This is a little confusing.For example say I create a segment with the timeframe last 12 months and the granularity is month. Then I apply a segment with a hits bucket 'hits where page = xxxxxx'. This would generate a report showing all the visitors who viewed the page in month 0, but who then viewed the same page in months 1-11. However, in many cases this is not the kind of insight which is required. It would be better if the criteria 'viewed page x' was for month 0 only and then track the cohort of visitors who return and view any content in months 1-11.There is a workaround to the current implementation by creating segments with date criteria (e,.g. create a segment where page x was viewed in month x (the cohort creation month) and apply this to the report. However, i don;t feel this is user friendly.Hence, my idea is to create a butto

I've run into instances where I have a few different breakdown levels and instead of collapsing the highest level of breakdown, I am just interested in collapsing a lower breakdown level.For example, I have a table with the following:Hardware products     -->broken down by Class          --> broken down by SubclassIn this table, I want to have all the subclasses collapsed, but the classes visible. However, when I collapse all breakdowns, it collapses all the classes into one "class" line item. I would like to see an option where I could just collapse the subclass breakdown, in this example, and leave the classes expanded.If we do this for collapse, we should also have a similar expand breakdown feature.
