Workspace - same date for new panels

When I create a new panel in a workspace project, I typically want the same date range but it always defaults to the current month.  I know I can go back up and change the date, but it would be easiest to have an option to keep the same date range. For example, when you set your date range on the first panel, have checkbox that would 'Apply date range to all new panels'  Then all panels can have the same dates and I don't have to remember to go back and check.  If I need different date ranges, I don't have to check that box.
